Es war ein schöner und lustiger Tag
Der Guid war sehr lustig und hat einem viel, gut und vor allem verständlich erklärt.
Der Busfahrer war ebenfalls sehr lustig und hat Späße mitgemacht.
Es lohnt sich die Tour zu machen und Pompeji und den Vesuv zu sehen, wir mussten nirgends warten und konnten immer direkt überall durch die Eingänge durchgehen.

Full on day but worth it!!
Although we got stuck in traffic through Naples, the day was amazing. The mini bus guide was lovely and made the journey very interesting. Once at Pompei, we met Ginaro who was our guide while at the site. He was very knowledgeable and funny.
Lunch at a local restaurant was great and then off to Vesuvius.
The walk up is steep but manageable and views from the top were amazing, well worth the climb. On the way home, we stopped for a quick comfort break and an opportunity to buy souvenirs. Great value trip although very tired by the time we reached our hotel. 👍😁

Great tour and excellent overall tour guide in Fabiana. Excellent tour guides in Luigi and Salvatore at Pompeii. Shame the weather was poor at Vesuvius but that’s out of the control of the tour operator.

A perfect day!
From beginning to end, the tour guide was very professional. He answered all questions extremely well and was very friendly! Cynthia who led and organized the whole group gave us lots of information while on the way to Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius. There was an optional lunch provided for us and the food was great! And inexpensive! There was free time to take photos and walk up Mount Vesuvius. Cynthia’s wonderful sense of humor added to a perfect day!

Excellent day
Thank you Jessica for your knowledge of Pompeii and Tony for your driving skills. We throughly enjoyed this trip. Our time spent exploring Pompeii was just right for my 2 teenagers. Lunch was fantastic, the pizzas were huge! The afternoon climbing up to Mt Vesuvius' crater was amazing to appreciate the power of tbe volcano! Definitely recommend.

Everything was surprisingly great. Even after reading about Pompeii I was surprised by the quality of the structures and the apparent complexity of the society of the time.
Mt. Vesuvius was spectacular. The climb was steep but not hard. The view of the crater was wonderful.

This is a great tour really worth booking. The tour guide was excellent, friendly and informative.
Pompeii was such an amazing experience to witness.
The food wexcellent at the restaurant and great value.

Full of culture and wonder!

We had a great day! Both myself and daughter wanted to see Pompeii and it was great. The tour guides gave us lots of information about the area as we drove in the bus to Pompeii. Then we had another guide when arriving who was an expert and kept saying how pompeii was her second home. She had excellent knowledge and clearly loved the history. We saw the brothel... Of course (top destination, although it only takes 2 minutes to view) The restored house was amazing as we're the frescos. The forum was awesome with all the pillars and stonework. I would recommend this as a trip bit you might want to go again sometime as it can take days to really see it all. But we were very satisfied. We had lunch in the hotel as part of the package which was basic but perfect with the addition of a man singing with his guitar.

Versuvuis was a great climb and the ground was soft gravel underfoot. So wear good shoes you don't mind getting dusty. We didn't walk around the crater at the top, because we didn't feel we needed to but it was interesting to see the 'most dangerous volcano in the world.'

This tour is a must if you are coming to this part of Italy. Golden Tours did a great job for us. Almost forgot we stopped at a great Limoncello shop on the way back too. Yum!

Definitely a must see
We have been up a few volcanoes but none quite as dramatic as Mount Vesuvius , you do need some comfortable and robust footwear as the pathway to the caldera is as you can imagine loose volcanic rock and powder but after about 20/30 mins walk you do reach the top and it is stunning ! Not only looking into the caldera but the views over Naples , Sorrento peninsula and the Island of Capri.
During our visit Vesuvius was smoking although we were told this does not usually happen.... so you are stood there and 40km below is the magma... makes you think right ?
There are several gift shops / cafes on the way up / down so you can grab a drink etc.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit but a note of caution , initially we were going to go by ourselves but decided to book a guided tour inc Pompeii and are glad we did as you now have to pre book entry tickets online ( we thought you could pay on entry ) and trust there is no phone signal up there... so many people trying to buy online without success and also visitor numbers are restricted so if you plan to visit then arrange a few days in advance.
Absolutely no hesitation in recommending a visit to Mt Vesuvius
