My wife's family home is in Bitola North Macedonia and we have traveled there every year since 2006 for a minimum of a month each time. While there, we like to venture out to several cities in North Macedonia, Turkey, Greece, Albania, etc.
We were in North Macedonia for the month of September 2022 and while there we contacted Teri BALOJANI in Bitola. Teri is the owner of BALOJANI Tourist Services (email address balojaniteri299@gmail.com.mk phone +389 75 395 398). As a result of that, we signed up for a 4 day, 3night bus tour of the Island of Corfu Greece, that was going there in the third week of September 2022. I am not into Bus Tours as you would see by my 70 plus reviews on Trip Advisor. What a pleasant surprise this trip was, not just because CORFU is absolutely gorgeous, but the travel agent was with us for the entire tour and never stopped helping us and informing us of all the things tourists would like to see. This tour included the cost of the Ferry ride from Greece to the Island of Corfu, the 4 day 3 night stay at the Hotel ARCHES, a family run hotel in the village of Benitses, which included a good breakfast every morning, full use of the tour bus to the stunning "old town"of CORFU. A visit to two incredible beaches (Paleokstriitsa and another beach that was best suited for surfers).
A visit to an outdoor restaurant that was very high up a mountain and overlooked the bay where the church at Pontikonissi was down and out in that bay (a true Kodak moment). That location also gave us a view of the final approach runway for an airport which allowed us to watch from above, the planes coming in to land at 200Km On the way back to North Macedonia we stopped at the small "castled" city of JANINA that had a gorgeous lake nestled in the mountain and great tasting gyros for lunch. This 4 days was one of the most entertaining 4 days I have ever enjoyed.
In this tour, the location was perfect, the weather was perfect, the water was perfect,
the price was right and our Tour guide Teri BALOJANI was exceptional!! I would do this tour again in a heartbeat, but it would have to be done with Teri at Balojani Tourist Services.

La guida Antonio è veramente preparato e sa porgere le notizie storiche (in italiano e inglese) con competenza e simpatia. Gli autisti Georgios e Socrate affidabili e precisi. Il pullman confortevole. Gli alberghi proposti nel tour di ottima qualità. Avevamo molte aspettative da questo viaggio e siamo rimasti veramente soddisfatti. La Grecia anche in estate è quasi sempre ventilata e asciutta, perciò anche il caldo è sopportabile.Vestiti leggeri e scarpe comode, certo. Un cappellino o un ombrellino per il sole. We booked 8 hour tour in Athens for 10 pax with reasonable price. I can’t remember
the driver’s name is George? and Dimi was our tourist guide, he is very knowledgeable, informative and very sociable. He told us history about his country and Acropolis and the museum. He is very informative and helpful too. He knew us like more photo stops, so he brought us to many places to take photos and brought us to a nice and cheap restaurant for lunch. We have tried difference classic Greek food with cheap price.

Our driver/guide Christos was wonderful. He spoke excellent English, was very courteous and patient, and understood the best times to visit the various sites on our 4 day tour of the ancient sites including: Delphi, Mycene, Corinth, Olympia, and Meterora. The sites were all worth visiting especially for those who are interested in ancient history. The tour includes the car, driver, and hotels. All other costs including meals, guides, entrance fees, or drinks are not included.
Christos recognizes that getting to the sites early is the best way to appreciate the sites before the large tours arrive. Take the time to visit the museums at each of the sites -especially Delphi and Olympia - because they are both excellent.
The drive through the mountains and plains of central Greece between the sites was amazing as well. If you go in May, the wildflowers are in bloom and make the scenery stunning.

Our driver and guide were very knowledgeable and helpful during the whole day trip.
We had a fantastic time seeing the site in Delphi, lunch in the town of Delphi and then off to the hot springs in Thermopylon and seeing the famous site of the fight between the Spartans and Persians.

Our guide, Christos' hospitality and enthusiasm is one of the many highlights on the trip. He led an excellent tour. The restaurants he recommended are delicious and economic! The meals never disappoint. Also, Christos also knows great spots for viewing sunsets on Meteora as well as Thessaloniki. The trip introduced us to the deep history and rich culture of Greece, and more importantly the unique perspectives of the Greek people. We did not only "tour" or "sight-see" Greece, we experienced it.

This tour literally covers a lot of ground, including many beautiful towns, gorgeous scenery, and wonderful sights. Unfortunately, it's a little too ambitious, leaving little time for lingering at a site or exploring a town. The hotels they booked us into were definitely sub-par, not what you would expect when paying for a private tour. When we insisted on upgrades and volunteered to pay the difference, they quickly found us better hotels. However, the first night they would not give us a refund on the (very unsatisfactory) hotel they had booked for us, so we ended up paying twice for that night (once for the original hotel, which we did not stay in, and once for the upgrade hotel, which was very nice). Ask about the hotels when you book, and if your budget permits, consider asking for upgrades. When the driver suggests moving on or skipping something, ask what you will miss if you don't. If we had known to ask those questions and not assume that the hotels were the best available or the sights were all of equal merit, we would have loved the tour and could give it 5 stars. Ask first, make sure your driver or guide is explaining the itinerary as you go, and you will not regret taking this tour.
