Peter is, quite simply, amazing. He's personable, knowledgeable, and expertly guided us through a busy National Park in such a way that we almost felt like we had the place to ourselves. He's made these great booklets of information about Australia and NSW that you can peruse as you drive out of the city and into nature, plus we were free to ask any and all questions we had.
I would sign up for any tour with Peter. If you're thinking about it, just do it. He clearly loves what he does and where he lives. He gives great advice, can help you plan your other days, and knows what to do and where to go.
We're so thankful for our day in the Blue Mountains and would go back in an instant if we could. Stunning doesn't do it justice. As a human not known for their hiking skills, know that the walks and stairs were just challenging enough. Do it. On all counts. You won't regret a moment.

We loved our tour with Peter! He is soft spoken and knowledgeable about the sites we saw. He also has a great sense of humor. We went on beautiful walks that, as a tourist, we wouldn’t have known existed and the views were spectacular! We would highly recommend Peter Bailey’s services! Lynna C.

Peter Bailey took me on a visit to the Blue Mountains and Bathurst. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day, and I found Peter to be excellent company, and most knowledgable about all the places we visited. These included Katoomba, Lithgow and some beautiful waterfalls. Peter was also very familiar with Bathurst. He was able to point out many details of the history, architecture and background of the places we visited and passed which added to the pleasure of the day.
Peter was very solicitous of my needs, as I use walking aids these days, and drove carefully and responsibly. He was easy to talk to and it was a pleasure to spend time with him. I have no hesitation in recommending his services as a specialist personalised tour guide to Sydney and it’s environs.

Peter was an amazing and knowledgeable guide who made a point of involving our teenagers in discussion and drawing them out with interesting facts and cultural comparisons. Despite having weather that was uncooperative, we had a fantastic day because Peter was able to tailor our plan and provide us with lively conversations on so many topics of interest to each member of our family.

Custom tour around the Blue mountains. Visited all the major sites. Found great food to eat for lunch.
Happy to alter destinations when we changed our mind.

Peter was a great guide to show us around. Very knowledgeable and he took us to spots we would not have otherwise seen. He was great to talk to while driving around as we had a lot to compare between countries. Highly recommend Peter if you are heading to Sydney.

This was the second of two trips that we booked with Peter and were not disappointed. We are not fans of the big bus tours and this was exactly what we were looking for. The morning we went to the mountains was very foggy and Peter was able to adjust the itinerary so that we did not miss anything. The scenery was spectacular once the weather improved. As noted before, he is very knowledgeable and personable. It was a great day.

Peter is an amazing tour guide offering a private and relaxed atmosphere for anyone looking to see the Blue Mountains as a family.
Our family (kids 8 and 10) booked a tour with Peter to have a tour of our own to the Blue Mountains. We originally were scheduled to see the Jenolan caves, but due to the bushfires the caves were closed. He suggested we visit Featherdale and he was right. He knew exactly what we needed and what was best for the kids. We all had a great day and would highly recommend Peter to anyone looking for a private tour that is very comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable.

Peter was very helpful answering our queries and also e-mailed us some really useful info for our stay in Sydney. Picked us up on time for our private Blue Mountains Tour in a modern, spacious and comfortable vehicle. He was a great guide throughout; helpful, knowledgable and enthusiastic. Featherstone wildlife park was really good. Also took us to a great local family restaurant for lunch. Food great. Our Blue Mountains tour need to be adjusted around the areas closed to the fires but was very well done. A very memorable day out and can't recommend this company highly enough. Seeing the queues for this on the coach tours I'd recommend you go private if possible

Thanks Steve, and your patience was much appreciated. Yes, the fires required a bit of detouring back in December, but thankfully things are largely back to normal now for tourists in the Blue Mountains

We're landing in Sydney at 6:15 a.m. on January 13 and, after arrival/customs, will be taken to our ship. Boarding is in the afternoon. During this 5-6 hour wait, we'd like someone the take the five of us to the Blue Mountains and return early evening for our boarding. The ship leaves the next day. Can you customize our tour to accommodate this time frame?
