I agree with all the five-star reviews! This is one of the best things to do in Bucharest. My advice is to do this tour early on your trip so you can enjoy spotting art throughout your stay. It is a great way to walk through the city, appreciating all the architecture and history of this fascinating place through the ever-changing lens of street art. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and personable. The time just flew. It inspired me to get more familiar with the street art scene in my own hometown. A portion of the proceeds of your tour will go to the artist community. Do not hesitate.

Wer Bukarest jenseits der normalen Trampelpfade kennen lernen und dabei viel über Bukarest und Rumänien fahren möchte, sollte diese Tour buchen. Unsere Führerin Dana liebt ihre Stadt und kennt jeden Winkel. Außer toller Street Art haben wir interessante Viertel mit tollen Häusern, wunderschönen Cafés, Buchläden, Parks besucht. Diese hätten wir ohne Dana nie gefunden. Eine tolle Tour. Die 3,5 Stunden vergingen wie im Flug. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Dana went way beyond and above the standards of traditional or alternative tours that you are used to. She was willing to discuss politically incorrect subjects, get you to places you otherwise wouldn't be able to see and give you interesting insights of how Bucharest functions behind the curtains. Recommend this to everyone who doesn't want to just take pictures for the instagram, but is rather interested in culture, politics and real city life in Bucharest.

LOVED this tour. Seeing all of the murals across the city was a great way to spend the day, and you leave with some AMAZING photos! We were super lucky on our day, and actually caught one of the artists! Not going to lie, the best part about the day was our guide, Dana. She absolutely went out of her way to help us out, answer our questions, and make sure we were surviving the heat! She even gave us a list of each of the sites and their artists later, so we could spend the time enjoying the work and the stories behind them instead of rushing to take notes/ write down the cool ones I wanted to show my friends later, AND she sent a list of things to do on our last day. Super job on her part. I also loved that we got to go through the university and the gift shops at the end. Overall great trip, highly recommend to anyone coming to Bucharest. Of the three that I did, this was my favourite.

Wir haben den Alternativen Rundgang durch Bukarest gemacht. Zusammen mit unserer Fremdenführerin Andra Haben wir einen spannenden und informativen Vormittag erlebt. Angefangen bei der Geschichte von Bukarest bis hin zu den Graffiti Künstlern war alles dabei und keine Sekunde langweilig. Wir können diese Touren nur weiter empfehlen.

I signed up for and did the Bucharest Alternative Walking Tour with Dana on June 18, 2019. I strongly recommend this tour. Dana did a phenomenal job taking our group to off the beaten path areas, museums, cafes, churches, neighborhoods and included a tour of many of the street art scenes. Dana’s knowledge and great sense of humor made for a really fascinating tour of Bucharest. Don’t miss this!

Dana gave us a very interesting walking tour of the city. She knows all the nooks and crannies - she has such a great eye for detail. Great photo opps, but even better were all the insights she provided on culture and history. Her English was fantastic. Her tour was the highlight of our trip.

We had a great tour with Dana. She took us through interesting part of the city and presented both street art as well as different architecture styles. Dana was very knowledgeable, and the tour was full of interesting stories and information. She also gave us many tips for touring the city later on. On top of all she accommodated our wishes and interest, so the tour felt like fit to us more than just standard script. Highly recommended.

Lala nous a fait entrer dans des lieux qui ne sont pas en accès libre elle nous a montré de très belles fresques de street-art elle connaît pas parfaitement son sujet ! elle nous a fait visiter des endroits ou nous ne serions pas allés de nous même en donnant d’excellentes informations sur l'histoire e la ville - ce fut vraiment une visite de plusieurs heures très très intéressante ! Thank you so much Lala ! !

I would highly recommend this as it takes you to places you would never go as a visitor. Our guide Elena was good fun and very knowledgeable and made us feel very welcome.
