Wir haben die Tour sehr einfach per WhatsApp mit Gede buchen können. Wir wurden mit einem privaten Auto abgeholt und hatten auch einen privaten Guide zu 3! Und es hat alles einwandfrei geklappt! Gede stand pünktlich vor unserer Tür und es ging auch sofort los. JRO Unser Guide mit dem wir zum Vulkan hoch gelaufen sind war super nett und hat auf alles geachtet und hat uns auch über die Geschichte des Vulkans erzählt. Wir können die Tour nur jedem empfehlen! Top!!!

Thank you for Booking directly to our website to do our amazing Package Private Mount Batur Sunrise Trekking,
Trekking to summit of Mount Batur is Doable for first timer and Great for expert but still some part is challenging and tricky.
However it could be easier with our guide Team (Made judul) leading at the front. Our service is based on Private tour that's why you feel free to decide whether go all the way up or decide to see sunrise from the first point with your private guide on that day, feel free to take loads of breaks anytime you want to And also you have a private driver for the entire day, none can rush you.

GP Bali Tour - this is the only contact I trust and use since we first visited Bali in 2013. We go back to Bali almost every year until 2019 when Covid strikes. Once Bali re-opens in 2022, we called up Gede immediately and booked him for airport transfers and to plan activities for us. There are a few Gedes in GP Bali Tour and they are good and trustworthy, in fact all their staffs and drivers are top notch!! Always early and readily available for our pickups, prices are reasonable and they are always giving good tourist advice!
The sunrise trek was amazing and the Trek Guide took great care of us throughout. Although tiring, we took frequent small breaks and was in time to catch the sunrise at the peak. When there were more challenging slopes to conquer, he was there to lend a hand to pull us up! Found us a good spot and a mat and made us as comfortable as possible. We had a simple hot coffee and steamed eggs breakfast, very memorable! Will do it again just for the view! You can get the best Instagram pictures here!
Ask Gede for the QuadBike and River Rafting too, they are a must-do as well in Bali!

This was excellent from start to finish. Although our tour guide (Ketut Mangnku) made the trek up the volcano epic. His pacing, knowledge and English was excellent. At certain rest points he would tell stories about the volcano and give us insights into his family life which was really special. If we ever come back we would love to be led by Ketut Mangku again!

This hike started at 4am in the dawn of my birthday. Never felt so accomplished in my life. Our guide Ketut was extremely helpful and very supportive - there were 8 of us and he made sure we will were all together and had regular breaks as he could see we were struggling. When we reached the summit, he was more than happy to take photos for us and even brought a birthday cake and someone to sing happy birthday to me! It was a challenging experience hut the view you get is well worth it! Definitely recommend!

Honestly, there are no words that could describe the feeling when you get to the top and see a sunrise with clouds beneath you. There are both easier and harder path that you can choose while hiking. It takes approximately 1.5 - 2.5 hrs to get there, and there are 3 rest stations on the way up, where you can buy some drinks and fruits. You will also be able to enjoy a view of stars above you and clouds beneath you. On the top you will get a steamed egg together with coffee, tea or hot chocolate. You will also see monkeys around you once the sun is up.
But more importantly, the entire experience wouldn’t be so amazing if we haven’t had Ketut Mangku as an amazing guide. He has been doing this for over 25 years and is very patient. Ketut kept us entertained while introducing us to Balinese culture, and some more amazing places to explore in Bali. He has very good communications skills and brilliant photograph skills. He basically gave us all the instructions on the spots and pose to get the best photos.
I definitely recommend you to ask if he could be your guide. I guarantee you are going to have an incredible time, breathtaking photos a memory for a lifetime!
But more importantly, the entire experience wouldn’t be so amazing if we haven’t had Ketut Mangku as an amazing guide. He has been doing this for over 25 years and is very patient. Ketut kept us entertained while introducing us to Balinese culture, and some more amazing places to explore in Bali. He has very good communications skills and brilliant photograph skills. This should be one of the must do list in Bali. My wife and I are not professional hikers. The guide was so attentive and helpful that we successfully made it. When we saw the beautiful scenery view, we had no regret to wake up at 1am and spent two hours to climb up 700m!
Our guide Mr. Wayan Budiawan is very professional and more importantly, he is so helpful to assist us to reach the top on time! Besides, he is also a good photographer 😍
Also thanks our driver Mr. Ketut Joe to take us to hot spring and coffee plantation after the trekking. What can be better to immerse in hotspring after 4hrs hiking and then have a cup of kopi luwak in a summer breeze!
Our guide Mr. Wayan Budiawan is very professional and more importantly, he is so helpful to assist us to reach the top on time! Besides, he is also a good photographer 😍
Also thanks our driver Mr. Ketut Joe to take us to hot spring and coffee plantation after the trekking. What can be better to immerse in hotspring after 4hrs hiking and then have a cup of kopi luwak in a summer breeze!

Ketut Gero was brilliant tour guide today for us on our honeymoon. We got picked up at 2:30am from villa and was about 2 hours to highest north point and it was breath taking. So worth it!!! Definitely recommend taking a hoodie as was cold at the top after sweating but you get coffee and egg cooked in volcanic rock. It was such an amazing experience- you can feel the steam coming out of the rocks which warms you up and smells amazing. It was busy at the top but not overwhelming and you could wander round as you please. The GP Bali tour guides were brilliant - really funny and good banter but very knowledgeable about the area. Gero was very helpful and had good English...walked at our speed and helped us over rocky parts. Wouldn’t think twice about doing it again!
