Este espectacular viaje en carretera presenta ciclismo a lo largo de algunas de las carreteras más pintorescas de Black Hills; Carreteras diseñadas con el único propósito de disfrutar. Pasea por túneles de roca con vistas al monte. Rushmore, desciende en espiral por "puentes en espiral" y desciende a través de las torres de granito en Needles Highway. Awesome, Spectacular Trip. Kevin and Joel were excellent guides and provided all the support needed! We did all the great locations Badlands, Custer, Mount Rushmore and Deadwood via Mikelson Trail. If hills or distance worry you, Kevin will set you up with an E Bike to make them not so hard. Loved it beyond words.

We wanted to capstone our trip to SD with a bike tour around the Black Hills. What a breathtaking journey! The views from Sylvan Lake and the Needles were fantastic. Our trip was early August and the weather was Perfect!
Our guide was Kevin who was super encouraging and had all sorts of great knowledge about the area. He was entertaining and was a pleasure to spend the day with. We weren’t thinking we would get many pictures from this trip, but Kevin surprised us with his skill in photography while riding. He also packed snacks to keep us fueled and hydrated.
If you’re up for a bit of a challenge, I would 100% recommend this route through the Black Hills. The sense of pride and accomplishment in finishing the journey was incomparable.

Kevin and Melina are a dynamic duo! They picked us up in the morning, drove us out to Sylvan Lake and loaded us on to our bikes. They followed us and we had the absolute best day with them. I had never done a serious bike ride before - but with their support - I was able to bike 4 miles of uphill biking - EASILY!! The route they planned was phenominal and breathtaking. There was 10 miles of downhill that can only be described as incredible. We ended the night with a visit to the lighting ceremony at Mount Rushmore. Melina is an excellent tour guide and so well versed in American history!! Thanks so much!!!

My husband and I just celebrated our anniversary with an amazing six day customized bike tour with Black Hills Bicycle Tour. Kevin and Mel were extremely knowledgeable about the area and had great recommendations on where to stay and what to so.

We made a bicycle tour around Black Hills with Kevin. Early wake up in the morning, Kevin picked up us from Hotel Axel Johnson. A drive to Custer State Park. Then a long drive through the most beautiful scenery at the Black Hills. I have never experienced such long downhills, and sometimes uphills, too :-)
However, what I remember most, was Kevin's friendliness. We had a big dream to see buffalos, but were were not able to see them. Kevin took us with his car for a long trip to look for buffalos. Without any extra payment. After a long drive we finally saw them!
Kevin is a friend more than just a guide.

During May of 2018 I brought a group of 15 college students to South Dakota. We arranged two tours with Kevin and Melina. First, they took us to Devil's Tower and Deadwood and another day they took us on a bike ride through the Badlands. What a truly amazing time we had with them!! They are absolutely amazing!! First, they could not be nicer to work with and more friendly and accommodating. They make it their mission to serve you well. They went out of their way to make sure that the trips that we planned with them would be ones that met the needs of our students. And did they ever!! Kevin and Melina are very, very knowledgeable. The amount of history and education that they were able to impart to us was very impressive and left a lasting mark on us. They are very engaging and willing to answer questions too. And somehow they managed to do all of this while driving us around, preparing us picnics, and taking care of all of the logistics of everything. They also did a great job of interacting with a diverse group of college students. They made everyone feel comfortable and welcome. While we enjoyed both of our tours with them, I must say that biking in the Badlands is something for your bucket list. There is nothing more beautiful and special than this! And they made it easy for us too. They provide the bikes and follow along with a trailer incase someone only wants to bike part of the trip. Please know that this is a very special experience and well worth the money!! I will be honest and say that I used a different tour company on another day of our trip and Kevin and Melina with Black Hills Tour Company BLEW THEM AWAY!! There was no comparison. I truly hope to bring many more students, for many more years, on tours with this tremendous company owned and operated by a truly wonderful couple!! You will not be disappointed!!
