Our tour guide, Mary, was great! Being a native Hawaiian she was extremely knowledgeable about the area and history of Waikiki. She was attentive and made sure we knew everything necessary for a good visit. Would recommend this tour. However, if you want to really fully experience the museum in its entirety, you will want to spend at least 3 hours there.

Very moving memorial. The staff were all very professional, we were able to take out time going through it. It is a must see!

A must see memorial when you are on the island of Oahu.
A somber reminder of the start of world war 2. I think something forgotten by younger generations.
It was raining, windy and storming on the day I visited, even then many braved the weather (rains and winds) to visit.

AVOID!
You can get tickets to Pearl Harbor and the Arizona Memorial through NPS for free, yes, however, tickets are released in batches 30 days in advance and then 24 hours in advance. If you want to get a guaranteed entry, there is value in paying for a tour like this one, but NOT THIS ONE!
I purchased this through Groupon and then called to book. I was told that the tour date I wanted was completely sold out, and they kindly pointed out that Groupon gave no refunds. I was placed on hold and she came back and told me that she could squeeze us in... she continued, that we had to "do her a favor". It's just a 45 min webinar that we have to watch, don't worry, not a timeshare tho! SCAM. I had the distinct honor of wasting 45 mins of my time while they tried to get me to spend thousands of dollars on a vacation package...
Back to the tour, they changed the time multiple times. They told me to wait at one location and then called and asked why I was not at another. The tour bus driver was a rambling mess. This is how bad it was, after doing the Arizona Memorial we planned an emergency escape and took an Uber back. AWFUL. My ears were almost bleeding from the rambling mess of a tour guide.

Transportation was provided by Aloha Pearl Harbor Tour company. Several local stops along the way with commentary by the driver. The actual USS Arizonia tour is provided by the rangers at the National Park. Not sure it was worth the price for what we experienced.

The Pearl Harbor trip was great, and convenient to have a tour guide that knew exactly what to do to make sure your day was informative. Don’t bring much with you but a small change purse and a clear water bottle as you are not allowed to take a purse or bags into the site. We were able to leave our sunscreen and tote on the tour bus. The walk through exhibits are powerful and helpful to convey the events of Pearl Harbor. My dad and two brothers were all Navy men, so this tour was especially emotional knowing the sacrifices of our military. There is a snack bar and expensive hot dog stand, so eat before you go. Dress in light clothes and wear sunscreen as there are a lot of direct sun locations. I found the gift shops to have tremendous, informative items. Our tour guide gave us a great tip to find the Don Quitote Store. It was an EXCELLENT place to buy souvenirs - 1/2 the price than the ABC stores. Look for the great deals on the chocolate macadamia nuts!. This day is a must for anyone who travels to Honolulu. Remember, freedom isn’t free.

Pearl Harbor is a bucket list must see. The history is vital to understanding the war. A very emotional and touching visit to the USS Arizona Memorial. Rob was a fantastic wealth of knowledge with facts, history and entertainment. Pride in the Hawaiian heritage. My only complaint, we were sold a tour that was to be from 8:30-3:30. It was supposed to include lunch and a tour of Punchbowl. We got chips and water. No lunch. No mention of Punchbowl. We left Pearl Harbor at 12:45 to head back to the city. I asked about Punchbowl and ending early. Rob said they never go to 3:30 due to highway traffic. Well, we ended up going on a drive to Punch Bowl after all. But, no lunch and we were back at 2:00. And starving. So, ask questions. By the way, we purchased thru Groupon. Maybe that was the problem. But Rob was great!

Very disappointing. Our guide was late picking us up and when we called the number, it was just an answering machine. The city tour was a waste of time, and like another person wrote the guide spent more time talking about the ABC stores and the Don Quixote store (don't waste your time) than about the history.
The USS Arizona Memorial and submarine were well worth visiting.

We’re arriving on a cruise ship (November), do you pickup from the cruise terminal please?

Does the negative test which is required for non vaccinated travel to enter Hawaii, suffice for the “negative test” requirement?

How long do you get at the Punchbowl Cemetery?
Escrita el 8 de febrero de 2022
Just a drive thru if I recall correctly about 15-20 minutes but for me personally it was worth it, since I had older adults with me. The whole experience was just perfect. The tour guide did point out and stopped in areas I felt were just enough to appreciate everything.

Hello,
We don't have proof of vaccination nor negative COVID test but we have proof of safe travelers exemption from the state. Could that be used?

I don't get an answer on where to get picked up? I have tickets but how do I use them?

Hi
Start times vary by location as they go from hotel to hotel. We we’re the first pickup at 7:30 from there a few more pickups. They then dropped us off at Pearl Harbor told us how what to do when to return to bus. Upon entering there’s an information desk right in front. I highly recommend you purchase a narrated tour headset that comes with ear phones (you get to keep earphones) I think they were about 10.00 pp
Once inside you can tour museums at your leisure until your assigned time to board the boat to memorial.
Once returning to bus you get a tour of some highlights
But don’t hold your breath for the donuts….
They never got on the bus!😂
If I had to do this again I would book directly thru tour company. Using trip advisor was useless
