Learned a lot. Frank is a gracious host. Come hungry, the lunch he served was one of the best meals we ate on the trip and he sent us home w a doggie bag! 😍

An experience not to be missed.
Aside from the absolute beauty of the area Frank treated us like family. Frank had a special lunch prepared for us that was simply magnificent. Then we went to a small area and learned how to pick olives by hand and machine. Last but not least we were educated on how to taste olive oil and the differences in olive oils. When your there buy olive oil to take home. We were apprehensive of taking the oil on an airplane bound for the United States. We wrapped each can in bubble wrap, placed them in zip lock bags and packed them in our luggage. They arrived in perfect condition, not a drop leaked out! Don’t miss the opportunity to meet Frank and experience what he has to offer. I promise you that you will never eat an olive or taste olive oil in same manner that you had done previously. Thank you Frank, Questa e stata un’esperienza eccellente, ❤️❤️🇮🇹.

Simply the best!

We scheduled our visit on rather short notice. Our family group had an amazing experience! Every detail was attended to and we learned about olive oil, how it is paired with food (completely delicious), and how olives are harvested. We felt like family - and we will definitely go back when we next visit Sicily. In fact, this experience helped make our visit to Sicily!

A Can't Miss Experience in Sicily

What a wonderful day we had at Amodeo's. It was great learning how to make olive oil, from the picking of the olives to bottles they end up in. We were served a very traditional Sicilian meal that was DELIZIOSO! This was a real life experience, not a typical tourist experience. Don't miss Amodeo's!

It's hard to narrow it down! Francesco gave me a private tour of rhe farm where I picked olives right from the trees using both traditional & modern techniques. He is a passiomate maestro of his exquisite family business and narrated the entire day. Franca's cooking was endless and fantastica. The view is breathtaking. The experience unforgettable. I will never shop nor taste olive oil the same again! Grazie mille!

Delicious and intimate lunch at a beautiful olive oil farm. Francesco was a very gracious host and a wonderful chef. The olive oil was some of the best we’ve ever had. Definitely include this on your Sicilian itinerary! Tutto bene!!!!

A Real Highlight of our visit to Sicily
Our family absolutely loved the Olive Oil Experience with Francesco Amodeo! We only had a few hours on our travel from Agrigento to Palermo, but could not have spent it any better. The relaxing family home was a perfect place to enjoy the countryside scenery. Francesco and Mrs. Franca prepared the most delicious spread of food, presenting olives and olive oil in so many different local preparations and served with delicious local wine. We enjoyed part of our meal in the cozy dining area of the family home, and then enjoyed our pasta course on the beautiful terrace. Francesco took us out into the grove and taught us both the old and the new way of picking olives on a small family run farm. We then had a tasting of several different oils, and certainly concluded that the best was the Amodeo Farm extra-virgin olive oil. We finished with a delicious dessert before departing with a giant bag of left overs to enjoy in our next town. I wish we had more time to spend with Francesco and enjoy his passionate exuberance for EVOO. I will be more educated and aware when purchasing EVOO in the future. The visit to his farm was one of the true highlights of our 10 day trip to Sicily.

An absolutely amazing day by the most incredible & passionate host Frank.. Frank has a wealth of knowledge & it was so interesting and fascinating listens to him. Who’d knew there was so much to learn;) The oil was delicious as was the lunch. We arrived as visitors and left as friends. This was the hi light of our two week holiday. This is a must, please support this independent and family run farm, #amodeo’sfarm. Thank you Frank, you made our holiday. Hope to see you again,

BEST DAY IN SICILY

My husband and I visited the Amodeo Olive Oil orchard during our Italian vacation. It was my favorite day in Sicily because Francesco’s property, food, hospitality and passion for olive oil made me feel connected to my Italian family. I learned so much about olive oil and can honestly say their extra virgin olive oil is among the best I ever tasted. I cannot wait to share it with my friends and family. Francesco and his Zia made us feel like their personal guests. Their hospitality was heartwarming and the fresh local food they prepared was amazing. I will remember this day forever. I love to cook and will definitely order their extra olive oil going forward. The quality is second to none. This experience was 10 stars out of 5!!!! Tante Grazie Francesco.

The only place to visit to learn about Olives, culture and everything else in this beautiful Valley
Francesco and Mrs Franca could not have been more hospitable from start to finish.
Our family of four wanted to learn a little about olive oil, and after an afternoon with Franco we learned a whole lot about the journey of olives from tree to the final product of Extra Virgin Oil.
We were treated to fantastic food and wine. The host’s passion for Extra Virgin Olive Oil is clearly evidenced by the phenomenal liquid gold his farm produces.
We feel privileged to have spent our time at Amodeo Farm. It was culturally enriching, packed full of interesting facts and figures, but most importantly, really FUN for all the family.
Final note of advice; travel there on an empty stomach; their hospitality is overwhelming and generosity unprecedented. Grazie Mille Francesco and team.
