So- went to this pub at 7.45 tonight and ordered wine while I waited for a friend. Friend turned up at 8:02 and we tried to order food at 8:05. Their sign clearly states that they serve food til 8:30 and considering it wasn't busy- didn't think this would prove a problem.
Girl said no- was quite rude and said no again. We said, oh can we speak to the manager- no you can't, they're not here. So friend asked if we could go upstairs and order there- no kitchen closed (in heavy accent). My friend went upstairs and we're happy to take our order until they got a call from unhappy girl downstairs saying kitchen is closed.
Annoyingly, we left, and spent our £60 elsewhere.
There is few genuine London pubs left these days- and they're always complaining that they don't have the patrons they need to stay open. Yet staff employed don't give two hoots about their patrons.
Only decent thing- my glass of wine was good!
Wouldn't return
Managers- maybe deal with staff attitudes. Clearly she just wanted to pack up and bugger off early!

This is a great popup on the roof of the carpark at the old BBC Television City
