Great Olympic swimming pool and I particularly like the high board diving which I often visit for. Sad that this facility is closing soon to make way for other pools. I do hope the high boards are available there also. This pool and facilities showing some wear and tear now. The staff are always pleasant. I often visit.

I came here a few years ago. As a local of Coventry swimming pool and swimming club, I thought I would visit. I came to visit and as a triathlete myself I thought I would train here. After my session was up, it was time for the squad to get in- not only was I impressed by their ability, but I met the one and only Earl Rad. His name was famous around Coventry, I would see Flyer’s of his name around the city, competing in the commonwealth Trials, Brazilian games and Olympic Trials. He was famous in Coventry. He is iconic around our area and he lived at this leisure centre. After seeing him swim, I was enlightened for a very long time. The way he undulated through the water so quickly- yet powerful had me gazed to it. After, I waited and spoke to our Earl and he was a lovely delight and pleasure- he is what made Coventry swimming pool and leisure centre.

awful staff member behaviour,while the cleaning of the locker room in the evening,before closing hours,with buckets and puddles of filthy water full of hair knots and such ending up under my feet while I was still changing with no warning or request to move in an area that had been cleaned already. no reaction from the headphone wearing little blond short haired girl making the mess(cleaning the floors), mumbled apology maybe after my third outraged reaction while her nerdy colleague was staring in awe..

Overpriced in comparison to excel, at 7, etc.
Shocking lights and more tape on the floor than a floor with a lot of tape..

Not a new pool but great fun. Friendly staff, clean but could be warmer. Great lazy river and slide. So inexpensive! Worth a visit.

Unfortunately Coventry is pretty run down and the leisure center is no different. holes in floors... toilets are filthy... flickering lights and tired staff. Management need to take a look at how they are running their staff into the ground and invest some time into cleaning and decorating the place! it was my first visit and i won't be returning!!

I went here today to watch a sporting event, and was told to get to the place I needed to go I could either:
A) Go up an elevator, then go down some stairs to another elevator.
B) Go around the back to a emergency fire exit, which the manage would open for me (as I'm in a wheelchair) and I could get through there to only use one elevator.
Upon travelling around the back to use the open fire exit (it was my only option) they had only opened one door which meant I couldn't get the wheelchair through! I stood up to hop in, and didn't realise there was a protruding piece of metal sticking out of the floor!
I tripped up on the metal and landed on my recently broken leg, which had been operated on about 6 weeks previously! Also, the 'disabled' toilets were a joke. They had deep ridges in the floor, where water can drain, which if I had been by myself, I would have never gotten over, or through the two heavy doors to get to it.
I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone with a wheelchair, and suggest it gets updated soon! I will be making a complaint tomorrow morning.

Was a great pool but the centre itself looks like it needs to redecorated as it looks like a blast from the past.

...it's ok. The swimming pool is a good size and the rapids work well when switched on. The staff could do with a bit of a smile every now and then.

Took us 2 attempts to get in due to one session being booked out in the middle of a school holidays. Sessions could do with being more than an hour long as the small amount of changing cubicles means with a family of 7 the session is 20 minutes in by the time we get in, and because we want to stay to the end the lack of cubicles bites twice as it then took us an hour to get everyone into and back out again.
The splash pool was good fun for the kids with bits for the whole range of ages we have and the staff were polite.
