Used to be friendly local pub
Recently changed management. Sky TV removed. Jukebox removed. Staff eating their Chinese meal behind the bar. No interaction with customers. No atmosphere or friendly vibe. Have visited for years and met many locals here. First visit since lockdown after looking forward to it for months. Will not be back. Shame.

Great pub that has lots of happy regulars willing to chat, bar staff always got great banter and always nice when they remember your name and what you order!
Couldn’t recommend this place anymore, great to sit and chat with friends instead of struggling to hear each other due loud obnoxious music.
New management did a refurb but didn’t make too modern which is great as still has the ‘old mans pub’ feel to it!

The woman serving spends more time chatting up customers than serving. The foul mouthed language from the bar staff as she rants on to customers is awful to listen to. Not impressed.

The Pub is under new Management and Helen who has been loyal to the Pub for 11 years, who now wants to turn it back around to what it used to be a busy, friendly and cozy Pub.

I visited this pub many years ago with friends who lived locally and it was a decent little pub that did decent pub grub and beer with a smile. Now it has reverted to what I would say as a typical 1980s Scottish boozer. No atmosphere, not particularly clean looking and not particularly welcoming. Unlikely I would return.

been here a couple times used to be ok but went downhill since new owner took it over. very small so can struggle to get seats.
