La cave a cocktail is somewhat unique as it is not a "standard" cocktail bar but a place where one can buy fresh made cokctails to "take away". It is ideal for a fancy evening at home where one does not want to spend time / simply can not mix tasteful drink.
The cocktails are very rich, full falvored with use of fresh ingredient. They also ahve some more complex cocktails matured in cask who were among the best ones I had the opportunity to drink.
Bottom line, as well a good alternative to bar to enjoy fancy drinks at home as a "must try" for cocktails "connaisseurs" with the desire to try out new complex drinks.
The cocktails are very rich, full falvored with use of fresh ingredient. They also ahve some more complex cocktails matured in cask who were among the best ones I had the opportunity to drink.

I needed to find an idea doing cocktails from my sister to surprise her on her return home.
Well I was walking in my favourite hear in the Marais and find this little street of rue Montorgueil almost at les halles and the guy in this shop gave me a menue to select a cocktail and also to taste them, he also invited me to look in the cave below and wow I was.
If walking in that part of Paris due yourself a favour and get a bottle or tow of fresh made cocktails or have him make it for you.

Un flaconnage d'une esthétique de rêve, très classieux.
Des dosages d'une absolue perfection.
Des prix relativement doux.
Un cadeau à succès pour aller dîner chez des amis! (ça assurera déjà l'apéro!).

We really racked up on the great stops in this area of Paris on Saturday. After making our debut at G-Bake Shop, we were told by the lovely girl working there that we must try the "cocktails for takeaway" made by the guys across the street at La Cave a Cocktail.
And I can't thank that girl enough!
We were headed off to Stade Francais for the rugby that afternoon so cocktails for takeaway sounded brilliant. Little did we know, these aren't cheap cocktails that are just thrown together in plastic sippy cups, they are beautifully mixed and bottled for you right then and there. The fantastic guys behind the bar explained all of the ingredients and why they were selected before mixing up our Cuban Mojito cocktails and giving us two glasses to take with for the road so we could fully appreciate their creation. They gave us a sample of an incredibly non-alcoholic "cocktail" as well, highly recommended.
They aren't inexpensive cocktails, but they are incredibly worth it. We desperately wanted to return later that evening, but couldn't make it back to the neighborhood. I will absolutely visit again and try another one (or two or three)!
