Anna took me on a photo tour through the beautiful Montmartre in Paris. Since she lived there herself, she knew all the beautiful places to take impressive photos. In 3 hours time we have come across all the elements that have given me great pictures.
Anna is a skilled and very experienced photographer, but above all a warm and friendly person. We really had fun. Highly recommended, especially if you, like me, have done the first courses of photography and want to learn something about composition.
The fun part of the tour was that Anna really made contact with everyone so I was able to take great photos of people. And that makes a photo all the more interesting.

My sweet husband booked us on this photography tour while we were spending time in Champagne, France. It was such a wonderful experience. Anna not only gave us tips on how to take photos, her perspective, but also took us to some very unique places. We spent the whole day with her and experienced so many fun places to take photos and also had a wonderful lunch of local specialties.
She picked us up from where we were staying and drove us around all day and even dropped us off at our restaurant for dinner. She took us to such unique places and also got access to caves and parts of the caves that most do not get access to. On top of that we were able to spend extra time and take photos without being rushed. We enjoyed her knowledge and her company. If you have any interest in photography you should definitely consider it! It's something fun and different to do while on vacation.

After a 3 week vacation touring Europe I was pretty disappointed with the photos I had taken. Paris was my final destination and I did not want to mess up and decided to get some professional help. I found Anna and booked her for a full day. It was a brilliant idea, she showed me a ton of stuff and I had such a great day that I booked her again the next day. It was raining as it does in Paris but I took terrific photos. She suggested shooting in black and white which I would not have thought of doing. They are my best pictures. I've taken a while to write this but want to thank you for your patience, endless explanations and fun we had. This was the highlight of my vacation. Bill from Illinois

A different Paris
Anna always likes to take people off the beaten tourist track. I spent a half day with Anna yesterday on a tour photographing Ménilimontant in north-eastern Paris (the 20th arrondissement). What a different side of Paris - hilly, with architecture ranging from 19th century to contemporary buildings many reflecting the old working class character of the area, its artistic and cultural life and now its ethnic diversity.
Anna knows the area intimately and we worked our way around its many small cobble-stoned streets and peeked into its hidden gardens. All provided wonderful photo opportunities even in the wet weather. Ménilimontant has stunning views over central Paris, especially from the top of the lovely Parc de Belleville.
Anna is a great teacher. She concentrated on improving my ability to ‘see’ and compose images rather than getting bogged down in the technicalities of the camera. I couldn’t recommend highly enough doing a photo tour with Anna - in Paris, the countryside or beyond.

We first contacted Anna last autumn as we are both keen photographers but have never had any proper instruction. We ended up coming this March and spent a day in Paris and a couple of days in champagne. It was absolutely fantastic! She was patient and fun, explained how we could obtain different sorts of pictures using different f stops and even showed us things that made pictures we would never have seen. Although it was March and only some vineyards in bud we took superb landscapes, wonderful champagne and food pictures.
We are hoping to go her workshop to Myanmar and highly recommend anyone to go and take a tour with her. Thanks Anna and see you again. Jane and Matthew

I was fortunate to be able to do a full day photographic tour/workshop with Anna in late 2015. Our group spent the day in Provins, a walled town about one hour north of Paris. In the 12th and 13th centuries, Provins was one of the commercial towns that hosted the famed Champagne trade fairs. It provided wonderful subject matter for our tour.
Anna has vast and varied photographic experience. She worked as both a freelance and staff photographer for a number of well-known magazines and has photographed everyone from Gorbachev to Alain Ducasse with Ghaddafi along the way. In more recent years, she’s worked extensively in commercial and industrial photography in Africa and the Middle East.
For such an experienced photographer, Anna is amazingly patient and encouraging of amateur photographers like myself. She is a fantastic teacher of both beginner and experienced photographers. I finished a great day with vastly improved skills in both technique and composition, all learned, off the beaten tourist track, in the wonderful walled town of Provins.

I thought this would be the typical photo tour, where you go around with a local who shows you all the great places to shoot. Well Anna's tour is much more than that. Of course Anna knows Paris like no one else. She took us to all the high points, along with the out of the way places, only a knowledgable local would know. But more than that, she helped me get the most out of my photos but suggesting different lenses to use, a different angle or approach. My photos have never been better. I learned so much from Anna I can't tell you. I am just an amateur, but my new photos have gotten raves from all of my friends. I would really recommend these tours if you want to get the most out of your photos.

I am not a beginner. I've been taking photos for years, but I realised that I am no longer getting the same impact from my pictures as I used to, especially since switching from a film to digital. I decided it was time to take a refresher course which I did and really enjoyed it. Anna has the right mixture of artistic and technical skills which makes it very simple and efficient to get the most out of your camera.
I am French from Paris but Anna knows it better than I do, so I had a great time seeing Paris from a brand new angle and took some great photos. I recommend Anna's Photo Travel Tours.
