My Dad and I took an incredible custom 14 day tour with Rudy starting in Normandy and ending in Berchtesgaden. The knowledge and storytelling Rudy put on display was something I will never forget, whether it was at the graves of American or German soldiers, in front of seemingly innocuous artifacts, or even in what at first glance seemed to be just empty fields but happened to be where some of the most defining actions of WW2 took place. Each location we traveled too came to life with these stories, and it only takes a quick glance at my camera roll to remember each one like I was standing there moments ago.

While traveling to these locations across France, Belgium, and Germany we stayed at very comfortable hotels, tried many incredible local dishes, and learned about the history of the areas themselves such as our time in the Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Reims or in Château de Chambord. We were even lucky enough to catch the tail end of the Christmas season in Luxembourg and experience the shops and sights there! This trip was one of the greatest shared experience for my dad and I to have done together and is something I will never forget!

Austin, Patrick Thank you for sharing your European tour experience under winter conditions where we were lucky enough to have snow at iconic sites like the Siegfried Line or the Eagles Nest! Can't wait to take you and your family on a new historical tour... Best Rudy

If you want a stress-free trip to Normandy and the WWII beaches but aren't a fan of tour buses..... Rudy Passera is your answer.
If you are an avid historian of WWII and want a guide who has in-depth knowledge not only of the D-Day landing beaches but also of the 100-day Normandy campaign..... Rudy Passera is your answer.
If you are parents or grandparents putting together a trip for your family so your children and grandchildren will understand and appreciate the American sacrifices on D-Day and beyond..... Rudy Passera is your answer.

The D-Day beaches and the Normandy campaign are Rudy's passion and passing on the history of WWII is his life's work. His extensive knowledge will satisfy the history buff who wants in-depth information, his engaging personality will enable him to relate to family members of all ages, and his behind-the-scenes organizational skills will allow you to move place-to-place seamlessly.

My husband and I took Rudy's eight-day Normandy WWII and Loire Valley Heritage Tour in November 2022. It was a perfect blend of WWII sites, Loire Valley chateaux, and my husband's #1 bucket list item - the tank museum at Saumur with its famed King Tiger tank. We saw an incredible amount in eight days and never once felt rushed. We were driven in Rudy's immaculate specially-designed luxury SUV. This allowed us to visit off the beaten path historically significant WWII sites where tour buses wouldn't fit and that we could never have found on our own. The hotels and restaurants were curated by Rudy and always exceeded our expectations. Literally, after landing at Charles de Gaulle airport and Rudy picking us up there we did not have to worry about a thing, Rudy handled it all. My husband doesn't like anything or anybody but he said the trip was flawless and Rudy was great!

My father and I spent 2 days with Rudy touring the sites of the Battle of Normandy. To say the tour(s) exceeded my expectations would be an understatement. Rudy had such a wealth of knowledge to share with us, I feel like we could have added 2 more days to our trip.

We visited both Omaha and Utah beaches, as well as many surrounding important sites. Even in the wind and rain, we thoroughly enjoyed this experience! It was the perfect balance of a guided tour, as well as Rudy letting us learn and explore on our own at various sites and museums. We visited during the off-season and one of the sites that we visited is currently closed until March, but Rudy was able to get us access.

I would recommend Normandy American Heroes to anyone looking for a deeper dive in to what happened here. It was an incredible experience - both educational, entertaining, enlightening and emotional. Cannot thank Rudy enough for sharing his time and knowledge with us!

My family and I loved this tour with Rudy and Normandy American Heroes. Rudy's knowledge and stories about WWII captured the attention of me, my husband and our 3 kids (ages 14, 16 and 17). We spent 10 day with Rudy guiding us through the events in Normandy, Reims France, Bastogne, Munich and Berchtesgaden and Rudy made every moment memorable and personal. Our visits to the German and American war cemeteries were incredibly impressionable for my children who learned, from Rudy, how to identify and research the lives of the American patriots that fought to defend freedom. We traced the path of different US military divisions, experienced the fox holes and revisited the events of major battles during the war, all of which Rudy brought alive with personal details of soldier's stories. Rudy even took us on a hike to hidden tunnels and bunkers in the forest of Germany and on a path following the footsteps of Hitler as he walked from his home to a local café in hills were he often took afternoon tea. I can't say enough about the quality of the tour that Normandy American Heroes delivered!! It's an experience my family will never forget.

Rudy and Pierre provided a world-class experience for our 3 day tour. Four siblings and our spouses were guided on the path our Father took through Normandy as part of the 4th Division. It was life changing!! Every part of the experience was first class including accommodations and meals. We received a very clear vision of events before and after D Day and how our Father and his fellow heroes preserved freedom for the world. No detail was too small. Most of all, Rudy and Pierre became part of our family. We recommend the two of them and Normandy American Heroes to anyone who wants to better understand these major events in history.

3 years ago I started planning a WW2 focused trip to Europe. After comparing other options, I decided to book a 15 day custom tour following my father-in-law's footsteps. This personalized custom option set Normandy American Heroes apart from other companies. Rudy Passera went above and beyond my expectations to ensure that my family's experienced Europe and WW2 to the fullest.

Rudy did a great job of researching my father-in-law's unit. On the second day of our tour Rudy gained permission to access private property. The private property once supported a replacement camp. It was very interesting to see names, units and dates carved into the trees. The local people were very happy to share their history with us. Later in our tour we visited small towns and sights that were part of my father-in-law's journey. Rudy excelled at mixing in other points of interest that were along the way. We visited WW1 and WW2 battlefields, museums, monuments, memorials, cathedrals, Cemeteries, and a concentration camp. We experienced things that were, beautiful, things that were interesting, things that were touching and things that appalling. Rudy was knowledgeable about the majority of the things that we visited. Some places we experienced together for the first time. We compared experiences and learned from each other.

Our experience was amazing, but would not be complete without the food and lodging aspect of our trip. Rudy did a great job booking hotels. They were all very nice and had all of the before conveniences that many of us expect. The food was truly amazing. In 15 days I believe that we only had 1 meal that was just ok. Rudy had a very good knowledge of different foods from different countries and cultures. We got to experience so many amazing foods that we have never had before. One cannot talk about great food without talking about amazing deserts. We enjoyed them as well. Rudy helped guide us in the right direction for both the food and deserts. It is probably a good thing we walked a lot otherwise I am sure that a person could gain weight eating the way we did.

I appreciated the professional operation that Rudy runs. I would not hesitate to book another trip with him. My only problem would be choosing which trip I would want to take!

We had a three day tour with Pierre who did an outstanding job providing an overview of the landings and actions of both the Allied Troops and the German Troops in Normandy during WW II.  He then followed it up with great details about each of the assorted invasions/battles and really brought it all together with our various location visits.  We wanted to see where my father in law had landed on Utah Beach and Pierre filled in all the details and insights regarding my father in law's landing and his Division's movements during the campaign.  It was most informative! Thanks for a great trip!

An incredible, historical & memorable event. Pierre, our guide w/Normandy American Heroes, is knowledgable, personable, kind & patient. He met our group at the train station in Bayeux w/a clean & spacious SUV. Pierre taught our group of 4, ranging in age from 23-51, about history, culture & some local vocabulary. We visited areas my husband's great Uncle served & ultimately gave his life to defend. I'm a combat veteran myself and I was impressed with the humility, the dignity, the reverence that is given to all of the fallen soldiers. Normandy American Heroes is well worth every penny spent. Our group will NEVER forget this insightful trip. Thank you...for everything.

My husband and I spent 4 days with Pierre Fallet from NAH visiting the D Day Beaches (Omaha, Utah, Gold), the Falaise area, and Mont-saint-Michel. We stayed in the town of Bayeux and each day were picked up by Pierre and driven in a private vehicle to the various sites, and towns.
Pierre was a knowledgeable guide, full of information about military history/tactics/lore. He is intense in his desire to make sure that the events in Normandy of June 1944 are remembered. His presentations to us about the heroics of those days were passionate, heart felt. He participates in re-enactments of WWII battles.
When we were planning our visit to Normandy with the specific purpose of touring the D Day sites, there were numerous tour operators available. Rudy Passera's NAH caught our attention, and after consulting with Myles, the marketing agent based in the US, we quickly made our choice. Myles provided hotel suggestions, answered numerous questions via email, and made the arrangements quite simple.
We enjoyed our days with Pierre immensely and found him to be a very courteous, likable young man, a good driver, a wonderful person to introduce us to the Normandy area of France, and provide insight into local fare, local customs, local color.
A private tour with a private guide as provided by Normandy American Heroes is THE way to learn about the WWII event of Normandy. NAH provides the personal attention, the flexibility to make the trip memorable .
This tour company is a class act. Pierre Fallet is terrific.

Seeing and doing exciting things with my two sons
My sons and I just returned from a 14 day Normandy American Heros tour with Rudy Passera, we had an amazing experience, we were able to see and do so many great things, Rudy is so passionate about giving his clients an experience of a lifetime, he showed us many places that the big bus tours overlook or can't access.
The hotels he arranged for us were great, the restaurants we ate at all had great food and thanks to Rudy's knowledge he translated the menu's for us and urged us to try many new items we wouldn't normally try.
My sons wanted to attend Octoberfest in Munich and Rudy arranged for us to attend one evening, what a fun experience for all of us.
We went to Europe as strangers but we found a real friend and guide in Rudy, he is very knowledgeable in World War II, we had many somber moments but more important we laughed every day because of Rudy's sense of humor and caring attitude.
If you want the typical cookie cutter experience sign up for the big bus tours where you have a schedule to keep and 40 other people with you the entire time but if you want a personal tour where you see all the great places and see places where the bus can't go, if you want to do things at your own pace with a friend then book your tour through Rudy Passera, it was an adventure of a lifetime!!
