We did the pathfinder riding tour (2 hours). We really enjoyed this horse ride. Kicki was our Guide. Very friendly and she explained us the basics at the begin a bit which was helpful because we do not ride regularily, only sometimes in vacation. The horses were calm and totaly right for us :-). Thanks for a nice excursion.

This was my most favorite travel memory of my entire life - absolutely incredible! I had never gone horseback riding before but Claire and Tiffany made me feel so comfortable. I would recommend to everyone to do this. Super easy to get to by Uber or Bolt from Lagos as well.

Absolutely wonderful,
Lovely people, well-cared for and calm horses. I was here with my daughter of 17 with some experience on horseback and my son of 14 without any experience. After a small lesson in the tank we went on the pathfinders route, 2 hours into the valley. Enjoyed it immensely, even my son did the trotting. It's a great environment here and the city is very friendly.

Did the 1 hour with Deborah and loved every minute. With 2 young children (9 and 6 at the time) we were slightly concerned but didn't need to worry. Myself, herself and our 9 year old were solo on our horses with our 6 year old on his own as well but tethered (is that the right word?) to Deborah.
Great fun. Found the ride through the terrain enjoyable once we got used to the rocky/hilly terrain. Once you realise that you are on well trained animals it is easy to relax. We got to do some cantering as well, even the 2 young ones.
Horses were cared for.
We were only talking about this experience a few days ago which made me realise I had never left a review at the time.
Will be returning when we get back to the Algarve.

Having been visiting the area and driving past the signs on numerous occasions over the years I decided to call in and see what it was all about.
So glad I did!
I booked a 1 hour hack, and having not ridden for 20 years felt safe with Deborah and the horses at all times. Really interesting hack, learning about the flora and fauna, and generally having a lovely time.
Although not needing my spirits to be lifted at the time, I actually felt as though then had been after my hour with my horse Bella.
Highly recommend for anyone fancying a change of scenery and pace.

I had two great hour long rides on different routes with the same horse. The experience was well priced and totally enjoyable. I was well looked after with the leader very communicative and allowing us to trot at appropriate times. The animals were well looked after and it was an experience at a riding stable that I will certainly return to in the future.

As ex horsy folk ( not ridden for 10+ years) myself and my husband decided to book for a one hour hack while on holiday recently. The horses were well cared for and Debra and Kiki were very welcoming. We enjoyed a pleasant hack through some lovely countryside on horses that were suitable for our varying levels of riding. We were asked if we wanted to trot and canter which we did in appropriate places, and Debra was very informative giving us information on the local flora and fauna as we explored the local area. Would certainly recommend to anyone, beginner, or experienced and would definitely go again if in the area. Thank you Kiki and Debra.

We were new to riding but were guided brilliantly every step of the way by Debra and Kiki.
The horses are well loved, very calm and patient with us beginners. They even responded to our directions!
The 20 minute training was perfect for us newbies and by the time we had finished, we both had a much better idea of how to control our horses.
You will also get lots of interesting information about nature on your ride eg. Figs, wild boars and Almonds to name but a few!
An excellent way to spend a warm morning in the Algarve.
Oh, and don't forget to give the dogs a belly rub before you start :).

We had a wonderful experience! Our family of four ranged from experienced to beginner skill level. Deborah was able to allow us all to have a fantastic ride.

What a fabulous day - it was our second visit 2 years apart for pandemic reasons.
The weather was a brilliant clear blue sky the scenery is gorgeous- the ride out ( at beginners level) was excellent having the dogs along for company was charming.
The Tiffany’s team were helpful and encouraging.
To quote Arnie - well almost - “we’ll be back!!””

My partner has never ridden before. Would it be best to do the hour ride or the hour and twenty minute ride?

Dear Katie,
The Beginners Ride of 1hr 20min is specifically for people who have never ridden or only had a limited amount of riding experience. This ride starts with a 20 minute initiation lesson in the controlled environment of our arena where riders learn the basics of control ready for a gentle guided tour of an hour into the local countryside.

We are returning back to Portugal for our hols!
My 16 year old son is a very experienced rider. He'd like a hack out with similar riders of the same level where he can pick up some speed!
How long do you hack out for and what are the prices please?
