We booked an impromptu outing on this stunning lake and although, at the last minute due to illness, we had to change the day of our adventures ,the team at Lakeland Adventures were accommodating and very understanding of our circumstances. The boat is lovely, really comfortable and immaculate and everything is in place for our comfort. We managed to go under sail and experience the peace and tranquility of the lake . Local landmarks were poited out to us and we were kept informed of local activities and history. Next time we visit this area , we will definitely book again and highly recommend this professional and caring family business.

Great way to see the lake, our hosts Les and Julie were good fun and accommodated our wishes. This was the first time on a yacht for a number of our group who went away loving the experience.

Great way to enjoy the lake. We had a lovely time and it was great to try something new in helping out with the actual sailing of the boat. The framed family picture we received at the end of our trip was such a lovely gesture.

We only had the one hour experience and despite the rain we really enjoyed it. Never tried sailing before and was steering most of the journey. Wonderful hosts, would highly recommend 👍🏼

Both Julie and les were amazing, myself and my partner wanted some first hand sailing experience which they were happy to give. From start to end the experience was amazing, will be returning with our friends.

Stunning experience, perfectly hosted by Sean and Emma.. even had the opportunity to have a go at the helm. Felt safe and trusted at all times.. just brilliant thank you so much.. could not recommend highly enough.

This was the most incredible experience from our trip to the UK!
Les and Julie were an absolute joy to spend a few hours on the water with. Our group had such an amazing experience and this is by far the BEST way to explore Lake Windermere. The hosts go above and beyond and we loved hearing their stories!
If we are ever back in the area this will 100% be on our list to visit again!

What an amazing experience! Captain Les and Julie couldn’t have been more lovely and welcoming to our family. Captain Les took a seat and let our son take over steering the boat. He said it was one of the best days of his life. We all really loved our hour on the yacht and we all agreed it was one of the best experiences we’ve had together as a family. We would highly recommend this to anyone. Our son was given a certificate at the end of our journey and we received a framed photo of ourselves that Julie had taken of us which was a lovely surprise and a perfect finishing touch to a perfect experience. We will definitely do this again with Les & Julie when we return to the Lakes.

A fantastic time on a very well kept, clean boat with 2 very professional yet personal hosts.
Les and Julie made the experience a great one with their knowledge of the lake and its surroundings and their overall hospitality onboard.
The food & drink was lovely and plentiful and the conversation didn’t stop from the time we boarded until the end.
We’ll definitely be back for another trip and we can’t recommend Lakeland Adventures enough.

Les and his wife were amazing hosts .. we all had absolutely fabulous time on the yacht … They were so friendly with our kids. Afternoon yea was lovely too very tasty flapjacks…. We would defo recommend them and we will be back again for probably longer hire …. Thank you both for making our sailing experience truly enjoyable ….
