My friends and I wanted to make some unique, handmade gifts for the holidays and AR Workshop Dothan had exactly what we were looking for! The friendly staff helped us choose & prep our projects, and kept an eye on us as we painted & assembled our gifts. We had so much fun, we came back the next day to make wood-chip ornaments--the perfect addition to our Christmas tree this year.

We had such a fun afternoon making personalized woodcraft gifts for the holidays at AR Workshop in Dothan. The whole process took about three hours, but felt like it went by so quickly! Our group made plank signs and lazy susan’s with various designs. Everyone walked away with a beautiful finished project ready to use at home or give as a present. Can’t wait to come back and make more projects!!

We stopped by AR yesterday to complete some projects on Black Friday. Miriam and George (and their staff) were extremely helpful and our projects look awesome. Our group had both experienced project doers and beginners, and they did a great job helping everybody and making sure the end result was perfect. I even messed up on the paint on my project and George took the time to help me fix it and it looked great. Highly recommend this spot for any outings, dates, or get togethers you may be planning!

When your kids are grown and on their own, it’s challenging to find a unique way to have fun....especially when they are men with a wife and a girlfriend.
Luckily, a new business in Dothan, AR Workshop, had all the fun ready for us with DIY projects for everyone’s taste and ability!!
Miriam & George Sellers, the owners, accommodated our group of seven with a private DIY party and each person was able to pick a project they wanted to do. The guys picked, a pub sign and a bottle cap holder. The girls picked, a rescue dog frame, a welcome to our home plank sign, an advent calendar and a customized lazy Susan. Everyone sanded, painted or stained their projects and then through the magic of stencils, customized each one with paint!
By the end, each person, including my husband
( who helped out) told me how much they enjoyed the whole experience AND they all took home a project they were proud of!! Thank you Miriam & George for being so warm and expertly guiding us through each project. We had a BLAST!

Fantastic time at AR Workshop! The kids had a great time painting their ornaments and enjoying cookies and cocoa. Miriam and George (owners) are awesome people. Highly recommend signing up for a class with family or friends!
