A place to Enjoy!
jul. de 2021
A beautiful beach and area, but also crowded during peak seasons which is obvious, but not great for some people.

Clean, Quiet Beach
jun. de 2021
One of our favorite beaches. Not loud and rowdy, always very clean. Not a lot of beach at high tide but huge at low tide. Good surfing spot where the Ogunquit river flows in. Short walk to the village but there is food right out on the beach.

A Great Beach!
ago. de 2020 • Familia
A great large beach with clear (but cold) waters and mild surf. The beach was crowded, but ample room between groups before high tide. There is also a smaller beach on behind the beach on a little inlet. Showers and bathrooms were clean (for public beach standards).

Visited the Beach Two Weeks Ago
jul. de 2020 • Solitario
Went to Ogunquit beach two weeks ago, the beach is very big, but when the tide comes up the beach does become very narrow. The temperature of the water was 67 degrees, which was really nice. It is a bit cold when you first go in, but once you are in it feels great especially with this hot summer. As the day went on and the tide coming up there is really no social distance at all. People were on top of each other and I left. Did not want to be that close to others.

Ogunquit beach

We always love going to the beach, not to sunbath but more for walking in the water, listening to the waves, smelling the wonderful air. Outside of vacation peak times is great to do this as there are no crowds and as long as you are not there for swimming you will love it.

Great Beach

Nothing like a long sand beach that is also in walking distance to an attractive resort town. Especially fun off season when many businesses remain open but the crowds are elsewherel

Nice evening
sept. de 2019
I stopped by the beach quickly because one of my favorite novels starts on the beach (The Stand). It was a cute place to visit. I bet it gets crazy busy during the summer. Would visit here again.

Lots of change in 40 years
oct. de 2019
As a child, my wife's family visited friends who owned a hotel in the center of Ogunquit. She had not been back to the area in 40 years and was amazed how a sleepy little village became the popular destination it is today. It was my first time here as I vacationed further north in Port Clyde and in Bar Harbor. I was amazed as to how many hotel and motels were in the town of Ogunquit and how beautiful the beaches are. The town seemed to be divided a bit into Perkins Cove and the Main section of town. Both were pretty hopping as there were several tour busses in town. Ogunquit itself had more shops and restaurants, but I like the stretch of the Marginal way in Perkins Cove as it skirted the rocky cliffs. I can imagine that it is very crowded in high season, so I am glad we were there when we were. My wife was glad to see that the hotel she stayed at and Barnacle Billy's was still there.

Nice village with local shopping and very good resaurants. We enjoyed strolling the village dropping in and out of the shops and dinners were very good.
