Lovely mountain top with great panoramic views including info maps on what was in the view. Took an easy walking trail that was wheelchair accessible about 1 mile long. Other trails offered loner routes. Even the drive up to park was scenic. Nice picnic spot, too!

It was a nice ride, just 15 minutes from Ogunquit. We were amazed at how quickly the scenery turns from "village population" to natural beauty. Once there we discovered how amazing the views were in all directions from the top of this hill. Signage held orient one to what one is viewing. There are hiking trails as well. Well worth the trip!

We never get tire of Mount Agamenticus. The views are spectacular, and the hiking is great. Pay for your own parking at the self-pay machine. New and improved buildings being constructed. This is a great place for all groups. Trails are not handicap accessible, but wheelchairs can be accommodated in and around the parking lot and adjacent areas. There are restrooms and observation decks. Stargazing is great here as it is relatively free of commercial light. During this visit, rain came in quickly. The lightning was awesome.

They closed the access road for the summer due to construction. The only way to get to the Big A trail is to walk 1.5 miles uphill on a rocky path. They should offer shuttle service but don't and they don't mention anything on their website.

They have made some nice improvements such as parking (lower, middle and upper) and bathrooms (ETA later this month). However, because of these improvements, there is now a few to park, payable only by web or app (see pic). Some good areas that are wheelchair accessible. I believe handicap parking is free as there are no numbers on those parking spots and the only way to pay is to put the space number.

Free to park, porta potties, Moderate hike up Blueberry Bluff to the summit. Fun Learning Center fir kids and families at top, with a little shop. Picnic tables at summit, some in the shade were a nice place to eat a packed lunch. Back down Fisher to Ring Trail. A little over 2 hours to hike, have lunch and go to Learning Center. Views at top are stunning with views of the ocean and White Mountains.

This is a great place to hike, walk, or even mountain bike. We had a great time riding to the top and then viewing the surrounding region from there.

Decided to walk up the Ring Trail and while I’m glad we did it and accomplished this feat at our age, I wouldn’t do it again. There were tree roots sticking up on the trail and small and large rocks strewn as well and you have to be very careful with your footing so you don’t twist an ankle. There are a couple areas where the rocks are piled up pretty good and you have to pick your spot to place your foot. The trees are marked with white paint to follow the trail. As you get closer to the top there are a lot of switchbacks so you’re not climbing a steep hill. We ascended in 50 minutes. Nothing to see on the way up but woods, but the top of the mountain is the star. We walked down the auto road instead of the trail as we were pretty spent by the time we left. 15-20 minute walk down. No issue with ticks or mosquitoes in Sept. No charge and there is quite a bit of parking available on top.

Long-ago, former "Big A" ski area (some of its structures still visible), has this second life as a easy to moderate hiking area on & around the Mt. Agamenticus, with views of the Atlantic Ocean & beautiful forests. Oh, and a shy, red fox. Trails are either packed dirt, stone, root-covered, all-rockface & packed gravel. Mountain bikers love the challenge. There is a viewing tower on the top & the old ski lodge up there is now the visitor center while, at the bottom, there is a great nature center. There are bathrooms on both the top & the bottom. Parking is pretty good but get there early anyway.

Did the hike up the mountain following the rim trail. Easily done and when we got the top enjoyed a spectacular view towards the gorgeous Maine coast and the beautiful surrounding area. Shaded and well marked trails
