Great place to chill and see some history

Great history and atmosphere, service on patio soo slow!!! But otherwise, awesome band during the day, appears to be a cool happy hr pricing, definitely go back. Food was good. Check out the room outt back, some great history!!

It's an experience

Oldest saloon in the neighborhood or something. Lots of character and lots of movies filmed here. A lot of celebrities have walked through the doors. Can it really qualify as a hidden gem? Hmm. Food for thought. Discuss among yourselves.

Band playing outside on a Thursday night, that was cool. Don't expect fancy waiters in tuxes, it ain't that type of place. The staff are down to earth friendly people.

I ordered the Naked Legs (smoked chicken wings). They took forever, but to be honest between the music, the beer, and the people I didn't mind so much. Especially because they were worth the wait. Spicy, smoky, crispy... Awesome. Bama sauce was the perfect compliment.

I had been driving all day, this was the perfect place to unwind.

Les meilleurs burgers de la région 🤠🍔

Un saloon qui date siècle passé (1913) mais qui est resté entièrement dans son jus : que ça soit le lieu comme la typologie de clientèle !

👍🏻C’est génial. On sort du monde fabriqué de Las Vegas.

L’équipe est super accueillante, avec mention spéciale au vieux cow-boy qui nous accueille et nous explique que le trou dans le mur est un trou de balle d’un client qui s’est fait tué parce qu’il avait triché au pocker 😂

Le lieu a servi de tournage à des très nombreux films et il est régulièrement cité dans la presse.
Des articles sont affichés aux murs.

Des musiciens locaux viennent jouer tous les jours entre midi et 16h, ce qui crée une super ambiance festive.

Au menu : des burgers.
Il paraît que ce sont les meilleurs burgers de la région.
On confirme !
Mention spéciale pour le burger au blue cheddar 😍

Attention le lieu fermé tôt (22h).

Worth a stop

Love driving to places and experiencing what they are about. This place was one of them. Purposely drove 3 hrs to check this place out as it has quite a bit of history to it. The food was good, the place was not bad given its years of service. You can definitely see time in the building itself. The staff were great and very friendly. Service was good. The margarita was great. I got the ribs and the flavor was great. The mushroom burger was good too. Was not disappointed with my food. Also, they have a live band playing towards the back of the patio. Even though we were seated inside by the bar area (it was cooler), the live music was still so loud. Coming from Riverside, CA, it was not worth the 3 hr drive but if you are on your way to vegas or coming back, you might as well check it out. We only went straight to the saloon. There are mentions of ghost town but we didn’t explore any further as it was a hot day.

Well worth a visit, the staff were great he place is full of history, fall out fans it’s a definite.
The actual history of the bar is so interesting miss it and yo be losing out

Old Saloon with Modern Taste - Worth the Stop

Historical local saloon, near Vegas with good food and live music. This old west styled no nonsense bar has both indoor and outdoor seating, a small gift shop, well prepared burgers and cold drinks. We will return.

Crazy cool and some amazing history

We came here based on the recommendation of our Uber driver George, and we had no idea of the history surrounding Carole Lombard/Clark Gable, or it's recent fame as featured in Fallout 3... so when we learned about both we were pretty blown away.
Even before all of that, this place was just a super neat place to visit. It's out in the desert, pretty far from any civilization, and when you stand outside you can hear the nothingness of the area which is really quite cool. We opted to take a quick hike up the adjacent hill, and there are some really cool views of the area from up there.
Back inside, the saloon is steeped in history, and there are apparently cigarette burns in the bar from where Clark Gable himself sat as he waited for the findings of the team searching for the crew and passengers of the airplane crash that claimed Carole Lombard's life. The staff were super accommodating, and the food was great. I had the haunt dog, which packed lots of flavor and plenty of spice. The Old man Liver busty blonde was also a nice house draft. They also have a general store, next to the Saloon for some souvenirs.
Overall, this was one of my favorite places we visited while near Las Vegas, and I highly recommend when in town, you get away from the strip and enjoy venturing out to places like this.

Historical, Fun and Unique

I enjoyed my visit to Pioneer Saloon in Goodsprings, Nevada. The atmosphere is fun and the setting is really cool. I had the BLT with a side of homemade potato salad. Be sure to check out the Clark Gable and Carole Lombard memorial room. The coolest part is that dogs are also welcome.

The restaurant is like a mini-museum. Lots of history and Hollywood memorabilia. Food was okay. Potato skins we undercooked, pizza was overcooked. The menu states their pizzas are "St Louis Style". Not exactly sure what that means...but not a fan. The burnt cheese had a strange taste. Not much sauce. Basically underwhelming. Based on other reviews I was in the mood for a burger...but there were none on the menu. That was a disappointment. Restrooms are porta-potties in the parking lot. They have live music on the weekends. May come back to check that out...but as for a different place for lunch on a weekday, unless the menu changes, I see no reason to return.

amazing bartender, card and magic tricks, good burgers, friendly people, gunshot holes in the walls, e-box and Clark Gable .... this place has it all. Glad we went and would go back if opportunity arose.
