Very NICE! The wait to get in was worth it. We drove over a long way and this park has spent their time decorating and worth the admission.

It was a very nice park, walking trails, picnic areas, butterfly garden, playground and splash pad. While we were there, there were a lot of Canadian Geese in the pond, and large cypress trees along the shore. We had a very pleasant visit.

We came to see the Butterfly "Papilion" (apparently a play on words of "pavilion" and the French word for butterfly "papillon".) While the Butterfly hut was small, it was beautifully executed with pleasant gardens surrounding it. There is a small fee ($3 per adult) to enter the Papilion gardens; the rest of the park is free. The park features a splash pad, a modern playground, several ponds, plenty of shady trees and picnic tables. The April azalea festival and the Christmas lights are special times to visit.

The park is very pretty. There is a lake with many geese and a few ducks. They didn't bother us. There is a walking trail around the small lake with several places to stop and look. There is a butterfly place, picnic tables, small water fountain the kids can get wet in, flowers, and a lot of shade. It is worth a visit. Take your food and anjoy a relaxing picnic or just drive through.

Such a beautiful park with walking paths around the Ponds and through the foliage. Very dog friendly. Great children's playground. Park benches scattered throughout the park. Picnic tables and pavilion available for picnics. Unfortunately, the below zero temperatures in February 2021 harmed many of the large azaleas.

Every year we make a pilgrimage to beautiful Honor Heights Park to see the dogwoods, azaleas, and arboretum. While it is still a lovely park and the dogwoods were outstanding, I am afraid the unbelievable frigid 10 days this winter killed many of the azaleas. Only a very few bushes blooming and many will need to be replaced. So sad.

Every time we go to Muskogee we drive through Honor Heights Park no matter what time of the year. It is lovely. Daffodills are just popping out. Within a month it will be ablaze with azaleas. It has a wonderful landscaped pond. There is a butterfly garden to tour (for a small fee) and a gift shop. Clean restrooms are available there and also at the playground. There are tables for picnicking and plenty of parking. Don't miss the April azalea experience.

Went to a sunrise wedding here. The facilities are very nice. Only downside is the roads in the park are pretty bad.

Not that I am aware of. We did the driving tour and it was pretty straight forward. There was a walking path as well, but noting complex.

The chili cookoff, parade and other big events usually planned for the peak weekend will be April 18. I don't live in Muskogee now so don't know how they're coming along. You might call the Muskogee Parks and Recreation Department or look on their website for more up to date information. Hope you enjoy your visit!
