Also known as Grandes Rocques and just further along from Cobo Bay. Lots of rocks to climb and also old German gun fortifications to see. It as a beautiful large expansive beach. Popular with dog walkers

We had an enjoyable walk along the beach and visited the German fortifications, very interesting. Had drinks and snacks at the kiosk with fantastic views of the beach.

We just had a meal at Rockmount and then we went for a walk around the costal path in front of the restaurant. From our hotel, we can walk to the cost in 15 minutes or so. The beach front is sandy, rocky and stoney in parts. The beach expands for miles and there are sand dunes, WWII structure along the way.
The rockery is a lovely 😊 path for a great walk.

Beautiful beach, kiosk open during the summer months serving snacks and ices (very popular). Lovely place to just sit and enjoy Guernsey.

This is a very good beach for a bracing walk, especially when windy. It’s also very interesting with the remains of the German fortifications.

Beautiful beach ... Rock pools & shells ... Very peaceful.. If you are able to stay or visit a seafront resturant the sunsets are stunning

Lovely beach rimmed by grass-covered dunes. The sand is amazing – bring a rug and you’re set for the afternoon, or, as we did, set about making your best-ever sandcastle! Lots of rockpools to explore too, and the perfect spot for enjoying a picnic tea as the sun goes down. Do choose a non-windy day though, as there’s not much shelter. Close to amenities so everything you might need is nearby.
