This was a birthday treat for my lovely partner in July last year we both had the great experience of handling feeding and flying of a Hawk and Owl and given expert knowledge from Nigel which was really interesting thank you would highly recommend

Nigel was a wonderful guide. Firstly we were late due to poor road conditions and he was most understanding and accommodating. Secondly he is a consummate professional - extremely knowledgeable without being condescending - he shared so freely his vast understanding of falconry, history, biology, training and ethology. The birds were delightful, shining with health, they displayed such gentle characters and were a credit to his skills as a falconer. All in our party had a wonderful time, each getting to fly and feed the lovely hawk.
The time was generous and all agreed it was a fantastic experience as it suited a small group so well and is such a different thing to do with so much learned.
I could not recommend more highly.

We went on a 90 minute Hawk Walk in North Molton with Nigel and Hotspur, a Harris Hawk. It was absolutely fantastic!
Hotspur is an incredible creature and we found it thrilling to be in his presence and watch him do what he does best.
Nigel is very knowledgable and gave us a fantastic insight into falconry and the lives of the birds.
To top the experience off Nigel introduced us to Cordelia, a barn owl. It was great to see, hold and watch another beautiful bird.

I like Hotspur a lot! He is one of my most approachable hawks and will allow total strangers to stroke him, which is a rare thing. Lady Macbeth on the other hand will give them a freezing glare which deters all but the most foolish. The birds all have different characters, and it is only by getting so close, and spending some time, that this becomes apparent. Come and see us again.

We spent a fascinating hour with Nigel, Hotspur the hawk and Cordelia the barn owl. A very special experience, made all the better by Nigel's wealth of information delivered with quiet passion and great clarity. We learned a lot and would recommend a Hawk Walk to folk of any age. Tremendous

Five of us had a wonderful time with Nigel flying his Harris hawk and meeting his young barn owl Cordelia. We all had plenty of time with the birds and learned a lot about falconry. Nigel supplied hawking gloves. All we had to do was listen carefully to the instructions and the hawk flew to your arm. It was a very rewarding and enlightening experience. Highly recommended.

Amazing experience enjoyed by 3 oldies! Dave was incredible- knowledgeable, professional and a great guy. Dave didn’t rush us and we were all given time flying the hawk. It was a very special moment when the hawk landed on our arms to feed - wow! We think this was the highlight

We were met by Nigel outside a local Pub and followed him to the place where he flies his birds.
A peaceful place. Accessible to those of us not so nimble anymore. I took a seat with me and I was able to fly the hawk in comfort. Nigel was very patient and stopped whenever I needed to sit.
The bird was beautiful. Nigel was brimming with interesting information about hawk flying and its origins.
This was a 50th birthday treat for our Son, who is bird mad. We were accompanied by our friend, who is also a nature freak.
We had a lovely tome. It passed so quickly. I loved the feel of the bird on my arm, and the excitement when he flew to me, or over my head to my son, standing behind me.
All in all we all enjoyed our time, and we would do it all again.
A great gift to anyone who wants to learn how amazing all birds truly are.
We highly recommend this joyful experience.

I'm glad you were able to enjoy the experience as well as the more agile members of your family. I have four locations that I regularly use, and each has it's own unique character and advantages.

Wonderful 90 minutes spent with Nigel and his hawk and barn owl near North Molton. Nigel imparted information about the birds in a relaxed and very informative way, together with an up close, hands on experience with these superb creatures. The time went so quickly and we learned a great deal. A memorable, enjoyable experience.
