Watch Movies at a Reasonable Price

Cinema Guayabitos have really upped their game this year. They now screen movies in English everyday at 1 pm. The price of admission is only 50 pesos/person. Loved the reserved seating, however, some people have no clue how to sit in the seat they selected. Very annoying! Bring a light jacket as the A/C is always on.

The movies are good but the only day that they are in their original language mostly is Tuesday and i have to wait until Tuesday to watch a movie cause even tho i understand Spanish very well I prefer to watch them in their original language. i understand that the community in Guayabitos is mostly Mexican but they are a lot of tourists that are disposed to go to the movies and chill for a while, most of them are Americans. Now here’s a tip for you’re business if you wanna grow bigger you need to set a language for all the visitors that come and that not only benefits us but you it brings you more money all the Americans that will pay in dollars trust me, you will rise.

Killer Queen!!

This is a great place to watch movies. I just saw the Queen biopic “Bohemian Rhapsody”, and it was awesome. The recreation of their set at Live Aid was spot on, including the Pepsi and beer cups on Freddy Mercury’s piano. On Tuesday’s afternoon they show their movies in English. Admission is 50 pesos and you get to preselect your seats. Be sure to bring a light jacket as the theatre is air conditioned. Their popcorn is yummy as well.

Fun matinee movie

On certain days this movie house runs English language movies.
On a hot day it's a great place to sit in air conditioned comfort and indulge in a little escapism, ice cream cone optional!

We just returned from watching The Commuter with Liam Neeson, at Cinema Guayabitos. Excellent movie! It was “English Tuesday” which consisted of movies in English for 35 pesos. I love how you can reserve your seats at no extra charge. The theatre seats are very comfortable, however, I would recommend that you bring a light overcoat or hoodie as the air conditioning can be quite chilly after coming from the outside in 28 Celsius weather. Highly recommended!!!

This is surprisingly a comfortable, very well air-conditioned Cinema with all day English movies on Tuesdays. We took a break from the beach and the heat in Rincon de Guayabitos one afternoon to watch a newly released movie. The theatre is reasonably priced, about half of what we would spend in Canada. The popcorn is less salty and more like home-made. If you want a sugar free pop you need to ask for a can as the fountain drinks do not have sugar free options. I like that the snacks are given in plastic trays and easy to carry into your theatre of choice, be sure to bring the tray to the attendant after the movie. The seats are comfortable, they make you choose your seat at the box office when you buy a ticket. After the movie if you need the washroom, do not go out the exit, as you will end up outside the Cinema, instead go back the way you entered the theatre you chose and the washrooms are where you gave your ticket to the attendant.

This theatre absolutely blows the ones back home out of the water. On Tuesdays they show English movies for only 35 pesos, and even get to reserve your seats. The seats in the theatre are really comfortable. I would recommend that you bring a light sweater or coat with you, as sometimes the air conditioning makes it quite cool inside.

Attention anglophile North Americans, these folks run first run movies in English on Tuesdays at 1:30, usually a choice of three shows. Very good, uncrowded seating, popcorn, candies, nachos and soda available at concession. And it is only 35 pesos a head (more for 3D). This might be the best deal in Mexico, try it out.
