Took our 1.5 yr old and had a morning session - a little walk with the alpacas and a cuppa afterwards. Was so fun and our alpaca (Cosmo) was super friendly and not spooked by our Toddler being temperamental. Jacki is so lovely and welcoming, would definitely go back again

We walked an alpaca each around the field on there open day. Very friendly staff and the alpacas were cute and we'll behaved. Next visit will be for the full walk experience. Wonderful afternoon out, we would highly recommend.

We had a fantastic time at Beacon Alpacas , we led the walk with the amazing Krug , all the alpacas were really gorgeous but our Krug was such a character . The heavens opened not long into our walk but that made our experience even more memorable after such a dry summer , The cup of tea and biscuits were very welcome on our return . Big thanks to all the lovely people who work there , we can’t wait to come back .

2nd visit to Beacon Alpacas and another amazing experience. My daughter had Krug who led the pack and Hermione who was at the front answered all the questions we had. Walked for about an hour with a few stops for the alpacas to eat. Will definitely come again. Great place and great staff

What a fabulous afternoon. The alpacas are so cute and so easy to walk with. The walk took about an hour with a few stops for the alpacas to have a snack. Hermione led us with Milly at the back. As our alpaca, Krug, likes to lead we were at the front so asked Hermione all sorts of questions about them. When we arrived back we fed them and the girl alpacas (only boys go on the walks) out of scoops. A perfect afternoon. If you're ever in North Yorkshire book yourself a walk.

Had the best time at Beacon Alpacas, all thanks to Millie and Hermione who took us on the walk and made the experience just that much better!

Absolutely brilliant afternoon! Our family of 4 took the beautiful drive to this little farm and fell in love with the cheeky alpacas. Derek was our favourite, he was so gentle and laid back. We were even offered free cake and drinks for the duration of our visit. We will definitely be back again, and my 9 year old has asked if he can have a job haha x

I booked an alpaca walk for my sister's hen do with a group of around 8; we had the best time! Jacqui was great fun, a brilliant guide for us on the walk and it was clear how happy and confident the alpacas felt walking with Jaqui. We all loved the alpaca walk (and are missing our new alpaca friends!) and are excited to come back in the future. Thank you so much!

Thank you for a great morning out with the alpacas. We were a mixed family group including grandparents, parents, a 5 week old baby and a very excitied 3 and 5 year old! Jackie and Hermione were great hosts and very informative. It was relaxed and suitable for ages and we all had a great experince, as well as a lovely cup and tea and ice lolly for the children to finish. Thank you, we will visit again next time we are in Yorkshire.

Is there a nearby cafe for people who don't want to walk please.

There is a small cabin on site with drinks and I'm sure that you would be fine to sit in there. If you are unsure phone Jackie and check that this is okay, she will be able to tell you if there s a cafe nearby, she is so helpful. Enjoy the walk, you are in for a treat!

We have two Grand children 11 and 14. How much does it cost, how much time is needed for a good experience. In view of our age would we have to accompany them during the walk.

Children need to be accompanied by an adult and the cost for 1 adult and 2 children to share an alpaca is £30. The experience is about 1.5 to 2 hours
