My friend and I visited Bonnieheath in July just toward the end of lavender blooming but it was still a beautiful sight to behold and I am thinking harvest time for the vineyard would be lovely as well. Due to covid protocal they were not doing tastings but we both enjoyed a glass of their delightful Lavender & Lace wine and made a few purchases including some of the Lavender Gris which we will enjoy when we are together again. The staff, especially Mikayla and Aiden (one of his first days on the job) were very friendly and we enjoyed chatting with Aiden. We will return with more friends. Its a beautiful property with lovely views to take in while enjoying a glass of their wine.

We travelled abt 1-1/2hr and were not disappointed. There is no entrance or parking fee. It was my first visit to a lavender farm, for me it is huge and very beautiful. .They have both purple and white and I believe they are English and French varieties. It was the first time I am seeing white. It was not crowed when I visited. So people spread out. You are allow to cut your own bunch, it goes by weight. The lavender look so beautiful, it felt like heaven. The scent was soothing and not overwhelming. You are allow to take out pics. They were no mad rush like the farms in GTA Toronto. They sell few products outside the store, no shopping inside. The ice-cream was delicious especially on a sunny day. The lemonade lavender blend was quite quenching on a warm day. The have few snacks and I did notice few pastries in a cold storage. They have portable potties and you are allow to use the washroom inside the building. Overall it was a well spent time, peaceful and quiet visit.

Visited with a friend, very nice friendly staff, emailed before our visit regarding COVID rules, got response the next day .... they grow 4 different kinds of lavender, it is just beautiful to walk around the estate especially on sunny summer day.

We went on a Saturday in July so I was worried it would be super crowded. We were pleasantly surprised that there were very few people there! With COVID restrictions you could still do a wine and cider tasting. We ended up buying some of each. We had brought a picnic lunch and a blanket, and sat amongst the lavender and enjoyed it. All you could hear were the bees buzzing! No traffic sounds, very peaceful. We walked on their path around the vineyard as well. Beautiful property!

What a beautiful spot !! The cutest store in an awesome building with wonderful grounds. The retail features the Bonnieheath Lavender products from delicious wines, to sweet smelling soaps, to lavender honey (yum), and even lavender infused tea.
For me the wines are a true wonder.
White :Delicious "Sweetness" is the Frontenac Gris Seyval Blanc - Pale yellow with gold highlights, soft citrus notes, honey aromas and medium body. The flavours are consistent with the aromas, showing elegant tropical fruit flavours, with a gentle sweetness and a well-balanced finish. 12.4% alc. medium

Red: "Crooked Wrench" Frontenac - This intensely coloured Frontenac wine is fruit forward with succulent black currant, black cherry flavours and earthy cedar notes. It is medium bodied with a lingering intensity of the black cherry and cedar to a long pepper finish. 11.8% alc. dry

Hard Cider : "Folkin' Hard Cider" "In The Face - Fresh Apple"

Attractive, off-dry, refreshing cider, with delicate fresh apple flavours. Very easy drinking, light bodied, hard cider style. 6.0% alc.
There are definitely more varieties and indeed so much to see in this little piece of heaven.

I was searching for all the lavander fields in Ontario and most of them have harvested mostly the flowers, we choose since it was on our way back to the US from Niagara and of the winery if the lavander fields were all gone. When we got there Labour day weekend 11 am the Main blooms from the Lavander flowers were almost harvested for the season but there were 4 rows left as the owner exlained, the peak blooming season is at July. We walked around and took couple pictures of the vineyard and the lavander flowers before doing the wine tasting. They will waive the fee ( $3 or $5 for 3 ) for tasting if you buy a bottle of wine.Make sure to try the Apple cider ( $ 5/bottle) it's really good. We saw people buying in the boxes.Bought the lavander infused dessert wine ( no tasting for this available) and some lavander products in the store.

I wanted to take my daughter to see a Lavender farm as she has never been. I was planning on going to the largest one in Milton but after reading the reviews of both I chose Bonnieheath and so happy I did. First it is free to go visit the farm. The English Lavender had already been harvested however the French Lavender was still there! Beautiful!!. As an added bonus they have a winery too! We did a wine tasting and bought a few items in the shop plus wine and cider. Lovely experience. We will be back next year in time to see the English Lavender! PS its a lovely drive there and then you can visit the Antique Market or go for a hike or walk on the Heritage trail. Lots to do. That's my plan for next year, lunch and a walk on the trail too.
