Hidden Gem in the Serene Aravalli Hills of Udaipur

I held a retreat with my NGO at Rukmani Bagh this past January. The COVID-safe outdoor environment provided an ideal environment for team-bonding after an extended period of physical distancing due to the pandemic. The hospitality, fresh air, scenic views, and space for activities (darts, group discussions, etc) left us refreshed and energized after our 3 day summit. Moreover, the locally sourced and organic food, with perfectly balanced Rajasthani spices was exceptional, surpassing the quality of food you might find at five star hotels. The rooms were spacious, bathrooms were clean, and the various settings at Rukmani - from the veranda to the back patio and garden to the rooftop - facilitated various activities over our 3-day stay. Udaipur may have many top-tier hotels and even a handful of rural getaways. Rukmani Bagh is a hidden gem within the heart of the Aravali HIlls to give a truly cleansing and meditative experience - to unwind, reflect, and plan for the journey ahead. It's off the beaten path, but like most things in life, all the more worth it.…
