Another fantastic time at Breathless Soul. In just over one year since its grand opening, Breathless Soul really has nailed it. A great combination of a party atmosphere, quiet relation spots, and everything in between make for a great getaway. Topped off by great food and theme nights and a fantastic staff that go our of their way to please you, it is a fantastic experience. The resort grounds are impeccably manicured and spotless! The attention to detail everywhere is noticed. Housekeeping was perfect freshening up our suite each morning, and providing turndown service every evening, minibar was always fully sticked, and the view is magnificent. Breathless Soul is conveniently located in the hotel zone, close to clubs, restaurants, and excursions should you wish to explore outside of the resort. The resort has created a fantastic above expectations experience because of the hard work and creativity of the entire dedicated staff! Special shoutouts go to Omar and his entire Xhale Club team, the Xhale Club pool staff of Hermilo, Jessica, Mauri, Benjamin, Hugo, and Katherine, Spumante Manager Julio who always surprises us with a special dinner course, Picante Manager Eliud who helped me pick the perfect meal combination, Sergio serving us breakfast at Silk City and lunch at Fishnets, Sommelier Hugo picking the perfect wines, food and beverage Manager Francisco, E-team leader Daniel and his staff of Hugo, Cristina, Katherine, Polete, and Erick, Fishnets server Alejandro, Chef Homa treating us so very special words can’t describe, Chef Francisco, pastry Chef Emmanuel, Gabriella at the Nook, bartender Miguel in the Xhale Club, and so many more. You all have found a great rhythm and know how to work together to give guests an optimal experience! Your hard work does not go unnoticed. Thank you all! We are already looking forward to our next trip. …
What totally made our stay was Salma at the concierge desk!! She made us feel so at home, and was incredibly knowledgeable, warm and helpful!! We will recommend this resort to everyone we know, and be back again just because of her. I have never felt so appreciated by a staff member at any hotel like with her, and the resort and room and activities she helped us with were just incredible. LOVE!!!
Thanks to the staff at breathless especially Polet and Fernanda for giving us great information, entertaining us, helping us when we needed assistance and making us feel welcome. I recommend Soul to anyone going to Cancun looking for an all inclusive experience.
Road construction near the airport has the transfers going crazy. They did their best. Airport check-in was a breeze. Karla was helpful and quick! Since we arrived later in the afternoon our room was ready immediately. The Room - Outstanding. Very Clean. Everything worked as it should. Xcelerate Ocean View in the Tall Building. Was it loud? Sure was, during the day time hours. Our room overlooked the Party Pool. By 11pm All was quiet. I wouldn't expect anything less from a party type atmosphere. We did at times hear sirens from the road below. Elevators are quick. Resort Capacity was low the first part of our stay and filled fast near the end. The Elevators got busy. But overall, fine. Restaurants - Coquette food was good, service(food) was slow. Server was fine. And it wasn't busy at all. Silk City, ate here 3 times in our 5 nights, it was amazing. Alfredo, Eddie, and Chef Omar went out of there way each of the 3 nights to make us feel welcomed and special. We ate twice at tables, once at the Hibachi Table (Get your reservation from the lobby person by the hall way between the Nook and Where the Amstar Advisor is) Get the reservation early in your trip! Fishnets was good. Huge steak portion. We ate at the Buffet every morning. Twice out of the 5 mornings, after we were sat down, we were not offered Coffee or Water/Juice. They simply didn't talk to us. It is what it is though. We can get our own juice and such inside. Food was fine. Some things were cold, some were hot. It was overall a good meal. For Lunches we mostly did Bare Buns by the Party Pool (Amazing burgers/fries/nachos/chicken wings). We also did the Pizza one day by the energy pool (not near as good as Riviera Cancun brick oven!) We also really enjoyed the cold meat sandwiches at the Nook for a quick grab. Night time - this was fine. They do their best everyday to entertain. We didn't utilize the After Dark party at all. We did get to see a fire show at the Xhale Rooftop which was neat since we didn't get to go up there for anything else during our stay. This was our first time doing the Hotel Zone of Cancun. Typically we stay outside of this area as it feels more like a resort and more quiet surroundings. Just our preference, but odds are we wouldn't stay in the Hotel Zone again. There was Military walking up and down the beach with Machine Guns. At no time did we feel unsafe. I know I have read comments about Locals using the Beach, not once did it affect our stay. Early in our stay, the beach peddlers didn't bother us much. But as it got busier toward the weekend, peddlers were hitting you up quite often. This peddling happens on all beaches from my experience. The one and only CON to our trip. The Resort basically opened its arms to a very large group of Dental people from Heartland Dental. They closed down the entire area by the firepits and in front of the Italian/French restaurants Thursday night so they could have their Buffet style dinner. They had also removed a bunch of loungers by the pool. Friday evening they started to remove all of the loungers from the energy pool to make way for the fashion show on Saturday. Its crazy to think that they would shut down their largest pool to a near capacity full resort on a Saturday for this Fashion Show. I'm sure there are more behind the scenes we don't know, but the Xhale pool and Xcelerate pool cant handle that large of crowd if the energy pool is closed. We left this day, so we were not there to witness the chaos. But from our window at 7am, people were already trying to secure loungers at the Xcelerate pool. I will add, the people we met from this Heartland Dental group were good people. No issues there.…
