Teníamos a nuestra boda aquí en 2003, así que esta crítica es anticuado y, para ser justos, no han sido ya que no sé las condiciones reinantes. Es un hotel fantástico para celebrar una boda - la comida era excelente, el personal muy atento y servicial, y el lugar es majestuosa. Un maravilloso lugar para alojarse, a diferencia de cualquier otro.

Firstly let me qualify this review by stating that I don't go to Bucharest for a "nice" time. Bucharest is a place to experience and enjoy - it's not Vienna or Paris - it's a place that involves you. Thus Lebada for me is the place to stay. Firstly it's miles away from the clogged, traffic ridden centre - sat on a lake surrounded by real people in real houses. No tourists whatsoever round here. The building is magnificent and you'll burn up reams of film just trying to capture it. The grounds are tidy and well maintained. The rooms are Communist in style but perfectly comfortable with huge ceilings and nice bathrooms. The food in the restaurant is excellent if you know what you're buying - it's well presented and my only tip is "be daring". There's a pool at the back of the hotel and tennis courts. I love it. A proper Romanian hotel, not an American interpretation.…

Ok maybe I'm just used to US style/standard hotels but this was nothing special. The public parts of the hotel and the grounds are beautiful but the rooms themselves a little worn and even shabby in some parts, although at least there was plenty of hot water (a pet hate). For a so called 'quiet' night or two at the start/end of a trip it might be ideal (as long as it is only hotel guests using the hotel), but for sightseeing or touring Bucharest its a little too far out - find something more central. The night we stayed we had the unfortunate experience of having a music video being filmed in the grounds and on the front main steps of the hotel - we felt unwelcome in the bar and were not allowed to explore the grounds at night due to the crew keeping us away, not to mention the noise. All in all, ok but nothing special …
