The front desk staff are all fairly new. I commended Amber for getting us checked in and upgraded with not much training. I also commended Raven for providing great customer services and being a great listener, However, this review is mostly about how their Operations Manager Alina and how she took my constructive feedback into rude, insulting comments about me and my English. While I was working in the hotel room, a maid was trying to get in. I went to the door and explained to her that we had a late checkout. She doesn't understand a word of what I was saying. Meanwhile I was on a conference call. When I expressed this to Alina, instead of trying to understand this situation better, she insulted me on my English, as if my English was better, the maid would understand. Bear in mind, she did all this knowing that we are one of the highest levels on Bonvoy. There are also families living in the property, and we happened to be put by one family. The noise level was there, but manageable. There is also a smell in the hallway that is very noticeable, but not entirely non-pleasant. The fitness center also has a smell, like burnt rubber. We had stayed in SpringHill Suites up the hill. We will continue to stay there going forward. …

Stayed overnight last night. Great experience from the checkin with Ben all the way thru the breakfast this morning hosted by Daniel. Hotel is only about year old, everything is new, employees week trained and attentitive.

Where to begin... We arrived late on a Friday night for a week to stay in the Bel Air area to visit family. Check-in was effortless and Front Desk staff was Friendly. The hotel offers complementary breakfast, which is nothing to write home about and is complementary so not going to complain too much... it's free, and a step below a Denny's breakfast Our first night in the room was okay except the blood stained pillow case and the hairs in the shower which you think would have been caught be the housekeeping staff. The next few days things got a little worse off. The TV streaming Apps stopped working day 2 and as of day 6 are still not working, so we have restored to watching our shows at night on the iPAD. Mornings consisted of periods of ZERO hot water and frequent bursts of cold water when showering. Also the shower does not drain properly Lastly on day two we requested housekeeping due to some of the conditions of the room, and that never materialized and had to request a second time. Overall the staff was helpful, but I feel management is seriously lacking as problems still exist and have never been followed up on my issues. I will disclose I did contact management on my issues and they did provide some remediation but from the service I am use to getting from Marriott hotels this location needs A LOT OF WORK. No follow up. To Management, don't take this out on the staff, but review your gust complaints and ensure they are resolved. As of this writing TV still had issues, shower is not draining correctly. and no communications or followup. Again not what I expect out of a Marriott branded Property.…
