Hello and thank you for taking the time to share your review of Sandals Ochi. We are saddened if you felt that your stay with us was not a replica of the high standards which we are known to deliver. With regards to your concerns expressed relating to interactions with the staff, it comes as a surprise that their attitudes may have appeared to be less than optimistic, as our service normally receives the highest of guest commendations. We can assure you that the concerns expressed are not the norm and do apologize if this may have been your experience. Our marketing team tries their utmost best to ensure that the pictures advertised are a true reflection of the property, but we will share your sentiments with them. We do our best to accommodate all of our guests’ requests; however, this is done based on availability as rooms are assigned upon arrival. At Sandals, we offer three levels of accommodations. Once a room level is booked, the service applicable to that level booked will certainly apply, so it is surprising to read of your concerns. With regard to any room issues that may have occurred during your stay, we do encourage our guests to contact our maintenance team who are easy to work with and can assist with making your room conditions a lot more pleasing to you. While we always perform renovations and redesigns to ensure that we provide the highest standard of luxury and comfort, our process is an on-going one. As to avoid a complete shutdown of service, we work in sections until each area is updated, however, we do apologize if this would have posed a disturbance during your vacation. Feedback regarding food quality can be subjective in nature however, you do have the option to speak with our chefs, while on property, so that they may try to prepare the dish more to your liking. Our team is enthusiastic about meeting our guest expectations and understands individual preferences. Your feedback has been shared with the respective department heads and we will have the team briefed in this regard, as this will ensure our service only improves with every review. At this time, we are glad to see that you are currently in contact with resort management and you can rest assured that any lingering concerns you may have can also be addressed. We only hope that you would not allow this experience to affect your impression of our resort brand, as we are dedicated to providing amazing vacation experiences. We would certainly love to welcome you back for a vacation that is more in line with your fulfillment.
