We have recently had a fabulous week’s stay in Tir a Mor and would thoroughly recommend it. The property is excellently located with great access to both the Ceridigion and Pembrokeshire coastlines and some lovely beaches; we enjoy walking and swimming so it was ideal for us. The house itself is very well equipped and homely and has stunning views over the bay from the lounge windows – we spent one evening transfixed with a lightning storm. Joy was also really helpful and very quick at responding to any queries, thank you!

Beautiful big house 10 mins walk to beach
Very spacious well-equipped 3-bedroom house with lovely big lounge, big kitchen and a nice garden. Great views, and about 10 minutes walk down the hill to the beach.

Comfortable, plenty of space, comfy beds . A pleasure to stay in!
The home is ideally located for walking the coastal path. The space is great and having 3 bathrooms a luxury. Spotlessly clean and has everything you would want! The tv has most of the apps and channels. And the view is exceptional! Home from home!

Relaxing
We could have sat and watched the view all day! House had all you needed, 10 mins up hill from 2 small , very clean beaches (we managed it and we re in our 60s) , coastal walks, great pub. Loads of places to go nearby by car.

Lovely family stay
Very comfortable, well-equipped and clean. Fabulous sea view from the sitting room and nice garden. Good base for exploring - we visited Cardigan, Llangrannog and Newquay. Our favourite beach was the one in Aberporth though. Also enjoyed relaxing in the back garden, which is a suntrap in the afternoon/early evening. We'll be back!

Brilliant position and excellent private garden
Joy was very helpful and the facilities were excellent. Close to the sea and amenities of Aberporth, Cardigan only 10 minutes away. So handy for visiting other beaches and visiting one of our favourite places Aberaeron.

A little piece of paradise in Cardigan Bay.
A wonderfully equipped house in Aberporth village that combines space and privacy ideal for a mixed group (we were joined by our adult children and their partners). The house has literally everything you need and benefits from sun in both front & rear gardens throughout the day - both are excellent spaces to relax when the weather permits. The kitchen diner is a very social space to enjoy meals & is tastefully decorated (along with the entire house). The bedrooms and bathrooms are sizeable and comfortable - ideal for our group. The hidden gem is the upstairs lounge with its feature window complementing the stunning view across the bay - a perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee or an early evening glass of wine. The owner Joy is incredibly responsive & super helpful and she provides a huge amount of information and advice ahead of the stay. A real piece of paradise that I highly recommend - but please don’t all book at once as we’ll want to come back. 😀

Excellent house in beautiful condition and location
It's often difficult to choose a house for a holiday based on the photos on a web site. I've sometimes been disappointed when seeing the real thing. However, in the case of Tir a Mor in Aberporth, the opposite was true - the house was even better than the photos suggested. It was much bigger than expected, with a great sea view and good decoration and furniture throughout. It was also spotlessly clean. The kitchen was equipped with everything we might need (even a cocktail shaker) and there were more than enough plates and mugs, pots and pans. It immediately felt very homely. I can heartily recommend it.

Beautiful detached house with stunning sea views walking distance from the beach
Our second stay at the lovely Tir A Mor proved just as enjoyable as the first. I almost don’t want to share the info about this gem of a property …… Aberporth is a large village on the beautiful West Wales coast of Ceredigion . The house is situated on the outskirts and is a 10 min walk from the safe and attractive beach- if you are carrying equipment you may want to consider taking the car - there is a small paying car park , if you are staying in summer get there early. The village is on the beautiful Wales coast path. If you are looking for a relaxing low key chilled break in comfortable surroundings look no further!
The house has a well kept garden front and back with a secluded patio area to the rear with space to sit ,eat, sunbathe- with sun for most of the day.
Downstairs has a large kitchen diner which is very well equipped. Also downstairs is a double bedroom with a comfy bed and en-suite and a twin bedroom with separate bathroom . Upstairs is the piece de resistance a sitting room with picture window displaying an endlessly magnificent view over the bay- whatever the weather. The TV has a great package including casting capabilities which can be watched from two very comfortable leather sofas . The upstairs bedroom is large and airy with plenty of storage a comfortable bed and its own adjoining bathroom. Well chosen local art work on the wall throughout the house creates a bright warm environment . Wifi is reliable.
The village shop and pharmacy are well stocked - the former opens 7 days a week until 9.30 pm . Tesco’s just outside Cardigan is a 12 min drive. I can throughly recommend food and friendly service at the local Ship Inn . Also if you fancy a massage or need a reflexology treatment - I can recommend Rainbow Relaxation, 5 mins drive from the house in Blaennanerch. Lauren the owner is extremely professional and offers great service at a very reasonable price.
Joy the owner is great to deal with friendly efficient and helpful and we are very much looking forward to returning on a regular basis.

A great house minutes from the beach with everything available to make the holiday very enjoyable..
Tir a Mor has amazing views and provides a very comfortable stay for six people. We ate at two nearby restaurants - the Ship Inn and Penrallt Country House. Both offered a varied menu and there was a welcoming atmosphere. The barbeque in the garden works extremely well to provide cook at home meals. We used Tesco at Cardigan to deliver the ingredients to save having to take up space in the car.
The cliff walk to Tresalth was easy to follow with drinks at the pub -another Ship Inn - when we arrived.
Joy, the owner is very responsive if you have any questions.
