It is 10-15 minutes into NYC non-rush hour, rush hour is approx. 20-30 minutes with special bus lanes. This is much closer than other boroughs of New York. Many people commute to Manhattan due to the ease and proximity of the commute. Very easy access by public transportation, there are several options for getting into NYC and other parts of NJ. NJ Transit and independent commuter vans known as jitneys traverse the city 24 hours a day seven days a week. Terrific views of Manhattan from several locations, close to Hoboken which has a beautiful waterfront. PATH subway available in nearby Hoboken. Bus #22 runs every 30 minutes into Hoboken, home of the Cake Boss, birthplace of Frank Sinatra and Baseball. Here you also can also catch the PATH subway into Manhattan 33rd Street and/or the World Trade Center. Buses & PATH run 24/7. Parking for one car and street parking available. Newark Airport is 25 minutes away, JFK and LaGuardia are 1 hour away. Very fast commute to midtown Manhattan. Very close to all major highways in the area. Perfect transportation access to commuting or travel needs or city fun. A wide range of international shopping, restaurants, grocers & a large supermarket are within walking distance. You'll find excellent prices compared to NYC and Hoboken. In nearby Hoboken, a 10 minute drive puts you directly on the Hudson River. We will also be available for contact during your stay for any needs that arise, and we will be there at the end of your stay to collect the keys. If you enjoy cooking and want to save money the kitchen is very well equipped. The neighborhood offers a diverse cultural assortment of grocery stores and supermarkets at terrific prices. Great bakeries, and coffee shops too. Whether you use great public transportation or choose to rent a car you will be perfectly situated for visiting the exciting sites of New York City, the NJ shore and other NJ locations, and other pretty country areas and sites. Cable TV; I provide basic cable, if you want the premium package with several channels you will be responsible for the extra fee. I provide the utilities for gas & electric & water up to $180 month. This is the amount I have found to cover everything reasonably. In certain situations people need to use more, therefore they are responsible for the cost after that amount.
